Never heard of this before. Any ideas on how to try this at home?

Can anyone access the article itself, not just the abstract? Abstract very interesting, but too multisyllabic and too vague. Article will also be very technical but i would still like to see it. Judging from the abstract this has promise but who knows what it will do when used with humans rather than dogs. Speaking of which, i kinda hate to see innocent healthy animals given a nasty condition like this, even temporarily.
