ablation on the horizon

I just wanted to let you know that Dr. Khaykin at Southlake has approved me for an ablation. I am so happy and relieved. I held out for him (my physician wanted to send me somewhere else) because of the advice provided by the members of this group. I don't have a date for the procedure yet (in Canada these things take awhile) but I'll keep you posted. I know he is sending me for a vascular screening as part of the pre-procedure protocol, which I believe is standard for him these days.

Anyway, it is a very happy day here. And thank you all so much for your help.

Judianne, half the battle for an ablation is getting a Dr. that you are comfortable with. I commend you for sticking to your guns. I know it will go well for you now that you don't have the additional worry of getting an unknown. Best of luck on your ablation and may the force be with you!
