Would love to receive any recommendations for good Electrophysiologists in Melbourne/Vic, Australia.

Dr. Prash Sanders at Royal Adelaide Hospital or Dr. Rukshen Weerasooriya at Royal Perth Hospital. They both trained with Pr. Haissaguerre in Bordeaux. <[www.afibbers.org]

Hi Ozbob, my EP in Sydney recommends John Calman. I don't know how many procedures he has done, you would need to get some info on that.

Good Luck

A high majority of the clinical studies published in international journals come from Royal Adelaide so I think they handle the highest volume of cases there. That would probably be your best option. I think Perth's population density probably means that Royal Perth doesn't handle as many cases. You will have to confirm my guesses when you talk with them.

A number of posters here have used Dr. Sanders over the years, with good reports. Here is a search: <[www.afibbers.org]
