A number of years ago, there was a frequent poster, Gunnar, from Sweeden. Gunnar is a chemist by training and profession. He had worked out a very specific protocol using Cialis to help control his afib. It is in the Conference Room archives <[

I've never used either Viagra or Cialis. However, the time after orgasm when the heart rate is declining rapidly can be a risky period for a vagal afibber. A year or two ago, when I was (I found out later) consuming too much calcium in food, I had this issue. During this aftermath, I can feel my heart beating, which means I can also feel if the rhythm starts to get wacky. In my case, I could feel PAC's and knew if I did nothing, afib would be the result. So instead of cuddling, I'd stand up and move around, or at least get my upper torso vertical rather than prone. This usually worked, fortunately. The few times I decided to keep cuddling, I ended up in afib. I'm blessed to have an understanding partner as jumping up and running around at that moment isn't usually considered the most romantic thing you could choose to do...
As a user of PIP flecainide (on-demand) I seem to recall I successfully pretreated myself with a small dose of flec an hour or so in advance of sex, or even the night before as a preventative on some occasions.
Fortunately, reducing my calcium intake allowed my normal magnesium/potassium/taurine protocol to go back to working well, and the "risk" time after sex is no longer an issue (or almost anything else either for that matter).
