1 year after ablation and now PACS

Hi
I’m just hoping to hear the experience from some other people post ablation.
I’m about 1 year after a so far successful PVI ablation (+ a bit more) and I’m starting to have some PACs.
I have had no Afib since the procedure.
Could the PACs be a sign that Afib could be on its way back?
Thanks

Probably. If you have been free from any sensations of something unusual for a full year, and now are getting confirmation that your sensations mean PACs, then it's likely you are on your way back to even more of them, a heavier burden, and perhaps a second ablation for either the heavy burden of PACs or of AF.

The second study is especially interesting as it does deal with your question directly further down in a section.

Thanks, I'll check out the links.

Its mostly after eating bad food like pizza. I'll clean up my diet and see if that helps.

In case anyone was wondering, no mapping was done and the posterior wall was not done.

I feel like I just had a similar experience. I am a few weeks short of a year after an ablation and this past week I felt some PAC PVC type pf beats.for a couple of hours. I have been in NSR for the entire time with the occasional odd beat now and then. A few days before I had a 102 fever that lasted for a couple of days. I rarely have a fever and I'm not sure what it came from. Also we have been dealing with the unhealthy air due to the Canadian wild fires recently. I typically would go into panic mode but for some reason I feel this was just a blip on the NSRadar. Which is really good for me to feel that way. I hope your diet adjustments are the difference you need.

Thanks JDfib, they have actually settled down now. Fingers crossed.
