I actually was told this during my year of taking two simultaneous drugs. Cedars has a department in their Women’s Heart department that focuses on this.
(310) 423-9680 if anyone is undergoing chemo.

Anthracycline therapy includes doxorubicin (Adriamycin) and epirubicin (Ellence) and has established links to cardiovascular adverse eventsopens such as left ventricular (LV) dysfunction, heart failure, myocarditis, pericarditis, atrial fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia, and ventricular fibrillation.

I have a neighbor that had lung cancer, she had chemo, about a year later she has had 2 strokes, she just turned 60 and is in not very good shape right now. I had a pace maker installed about 20 years ago, one of the wires was put in my right ventricular which has led to Pulmonary hypertension and probably heart failure. Seems like a lot of medical proceedures lead to other problems. You might say that well you got 20 years, yes,, but I didn't try something else before getting the pacer, like checking other options.
