Gentlefolk,
I'd like to thank everyone. I have been asking a lot of questions lately and have received useful replies.
My question here is about magnesium injections. Years ago I found my magnesium levels were well below the reference range. Supplements didn't change things I did more reading and it appears that you may lose the ability to absorb magnesium. I had a series of magnesium sulphate intramuscular injections and my magnesium levels came up. Supplementation then started working.
I still have occasional injections of magnesium sulphate. I now find there are also magnesium chloride injections. Any advantages of one over the other?
Mg is an unpleasant injection.
Intravenous injections would not be pleasant either I assume.
Any comments?
Alex
