PS. Of particular interest in this issue is the now conclusive evidence that the
daily aspirin ritual is useless for preventing a first stroke or heart attack (primary prevention) and that routine aspirin consumption, quite apart from carrying a considerable risk of serious bleeding and hemorrhagic stroke, also significantly increases the risk of developing macular degeneration.
