Hi Noo evidence of AF since my procedure with Dr Ernst . Some initial AT. Ectopy down from 10% + to 0.7%. Blood Pressure down for the first time in decades I am off all BP medication. Athletic performance is up by about +10% but not done any really long distances yet. I still have an enlarged Left Atrium. Back at +6mths ofr further investigation etc Lesby Don Quixote - AFIBBERS FORUM
Yes possibly, but they a have proved hard to capture. It is was Sabine Ernst thinks is a possibility and I had been picked up as having slow AF at one point which felt no different to my 'normal' ectopy. So I noticed my fast AF )total of about 6 episodes) but not necessarily short duration (and nocturnal?) slow AF. A complicating factor is that my P wave is sometimes tiny or absentby Don Quixote - AFIBBERS FORUM

Well back home which is good, in NSR I think which is even better but I do get runs of what I would call 'skipping' so am on Flecanide and Bisoprolol for a month. A much longer procedure than expected, I think I went to the lab at 3 pm and was able to text badly at about 1 am the next day but there was time for final preparations and I have no idea how long I was in 'Recovery Waby Don Quixote - AFIBBERS FORUM
Right so they found some unexpected I think in the right atrium so Dr Ernst had to do diagonals there?? 5 GPs ablated and full PVI. As a result of the unexpected I think they had to thin blood aggressively. This led t a bit of bleeding from the left groin cured by pressure and bed rest for 12 hours. Happily this is about to come to an end. I have had a scan of my groin and all is well.by Don Quixote - AFIBBERS FORUM
OK so I am due in for an ablation with Dr Ernst on Thursday 18th. Had my CT scan and mIBG imaging (x2 to check for consistency joys of being in a trial). The CT angio is what one might expect...not very challenging except that I bled when putting line in, wonder what my INR is? Tuesday was mIBG in the Nuclear medicine department. That ran from 9 am to 4 pm with long periods 'holding a poby Don Quixote - AFIBBERS FORUM
SO down for ablation with Dr Ernst 18 June. I am in NSR for sometime now (but no P wave). Lesby Don Quixote - AFIBBERS FORUM
Part 1 see down thread Everything here is tentative same it is just my memory of what was said, a clinical letter follows. Well had my second meeting with Dr Ernst. As she put it the good news is that my hart is in good form EF 70% . That begs the following statement: the Bad News is that I have a very large left Atrium (bother!). 48 hour monitor showed 10% ectopics and HR 40 to 55 bpm somby Don Quixote - AFIBBERS FORUM
I am back in again next Tuesday TEE and then a bit later seeing Dr Ernst. One thing she noted was that I was in SR but there was no visible P wave (worry worry)by Don Quixote - AFIBBERS FORUM
Well went to see Dr Ernst at the Royal Brompton: what a lovely person. I am sitting here with a Holter on, I wondered why it had not been done before, and am due to go back next week for results and investigation. For the first time someone has made sense to me of my heart arrhythmia (I have very frequent ectopics). I was in a bot of a 'state' but I think she believes that in my caseby Don Quixote - AFIBBERS FORUM
Day 2 Pulse still high (75 bpm) but rising slightly less quickly when I move around so still in AF I suspect 8 days now. Booked in to see Dr Ernst on Tuesday evening so that is now sorted. Thinking of getting an Alcor having chatted to Gill this afternoon. My dose of Beta Blockers has been increased. It might be my head but seem to get tired quickly right now.
