QuoteMeganMN On a similar note, I have done some reading and discovered that Isoproteronol can severely deplete Arginine and Taurine, which I found super interesting. I will take a look at that book and look into starting a regimine. I have the ginger, and taurine already. What type of potassium/magnesium do you use? My friend who increased his taurine to 4g/day had been taking around 250 mgby GeorgeN - AFIBBERS FORUM

QuoteMeganMN George, I would rather not NEED another ablation and would definitely be game for hearing your solutions. I have tried many things, but ultimately, even if I have another ablation, I need to sort out how to keep this from happening in the first place, so I would definitely welcome your experience!! Sorry for a tardy response. I'm traveling at the moment. Here are some thoby GeorgeN - AFIBBERS FORUM
Quotegreyhoundgal Yes it is the only ingredient but it does have inactive ingredients which look questionable such as carbomer homopolymor Type B, FD&C Blue No. 1, hypromellose USP, magnesium stearate, NF, microcrystilline cellulose, NF, and sodium starch glycolate, NF. I am so sensitive to any meds. As long as they're listed as "inactive ingredients" you should be fine.by mjamesone - AFIBBERS FORUM
Thanks Gloaming for the information. I never thought of it that way. I have never bothered taking my heart rate reading while exercising or walking briskly/jogging as every year I do so well on my stress echo tests. I walk a greyhound at a very fast pace twice a day without fail, rain or shine. The is my 5th greyhound and can't remember ever living without one. Quotegloaming I had my second ablation just 14 months ago, and have resumed an outdoors climb at the sea's edge called the Goose Spit Steps. The lower set rises 100 fett over 145 steps, only two small landings to change direction, while beyond that is a mix of steps and climbing path that rises even more, so a double whammy. I take them all in one go, at 72 and only a year+ out of a secondby Yuxi - AFIBBERS FORUM

I haven't tried l-argine but taurine, magnesium and potassium (and about 500mg sodium) have been part of my daily routine. Taurine, 2000mg, was the last I added and it took mine down to almost nothing within weeks. I wish I'd added it sooner. Good to hear it worked for you also!by CC - AFIBBERS FORUM
I met with my regular EP today. It was REALLY good and informative. We talked a long time. He said that looking at my ECG, he suspects that the PACs and SVT are coming from the left atrium. He said that it is a 'disease' of the ion channels and that they are designed to pass calcium, potassium, sodium through to allow a charge or not, and the channel becomes problematic and allows a chby MeganMN - AFIBBERS FORUM
Megan, I have been reading here for years and even created an account a while back but haven't time to introduce myself and actually comment. But your problem was one I also have. None of the meds worked for me, especially anything that would bring the heart rate down. I'm not sure which source I got this from because it's been a few years, but L-theanine has been a life saver forby CC - AFIBBERS FORUM
QuoteYuxi Are you not concerned about your bone health without enough calcium intake? I have osteoporosis and was told to consume 1000mg calcium per day. Ugh, such a dilemma! First, there is a lot of osteoporosis in the maternal side of my family. My late grandmother, my aunt (93) and my late mother all had it. My mother got jawbone necrosis from the bisphosphonate meds. Hence it is sometby GeorgeN - AFIBBERS FORUM
