New computer is a very interesting but sometimes baffling machine. A version of my second post on this thread vanished utterly and i typed up another, which got posted. On reviewing the thread, i found i had a private message, which proved to be the vanished post in its entirety. Anybody who can, would you explain this turn of events? Is this a peculiarity of this machine, or is it something toby peggyM - AFIBBERS FORUM
George's excellent informative post:: chart of K content of common foods: The latter of those 2 is from Krispin Sullivan's very informative and interesting site, which i highly recommend. PeggyMby peggyM - AFIBBERS FORUM
" I should have performed this analyzation of my diet before I started the K+ supplementation." Antifib, do you remember me tiresomely recommending to newbies and old hands alike that they shpuld use fitday BEFORE embarking on an attempt to do whatever good can come from supplementing K? Typically newbies want to know how much K they should use, and i tell them. 1]. to find their boby peggyM - AFIBBERS FORUM

Ted, did you check the Search function? There are a great many reports of Natale ablations here thru the years, and some of those reports must be the detailed ones you want to read. Put Natale into the search function and some of them must include the five areas you mention and/orsome others for all i know. I hope you find the statistics or other details you need. ATF, sad to say i have stopped climbing stairs altogether. My sister in law lectured me about if i ever came down those stairs the wrong way i would be in a nursing home plenty pronto. I wanted to give her an argument about it but found i could not. Subsequently i have gotten my young cousin to move my bedroom downstairs to the front room and have rented out my old room. Ativan conversion: 1] Notice that old familiar flippy feeling. 2] Fumble out the little ativan bottle, remove 1 tiny pill [1mg each], place under tongue. Note the time you do this. 3] Expect sweet NSR within 30 mins to an hour, surely before 2 hrs has passed. This has worked every time i have used it. If it works for you too, write and tell us so please? So far it is the only sure conveby peggyM - AFIBBERS FORUM
"The episdoe has to last about 5 hours for a clot to form." People, is that true? Because if it is, then a lot of worry can be deleted. Before i ran across the ativan conversion method, erisodes used to last 12 hrs or so before self converting, and with ativan they convert within 2 hrs tops. I would be so pleased to know for sure they would not lead to a stroke. PeggyMby peggyM - AFIBBERS FORUM
repeated for clarification: "anecdotal observation".Shannon please explain what you mean by that? Are we all factitious liars now, not just those of us who "claim" to have sent the afib boogies to flap their leathery wings in somebody else's life without surgery or heart drugs? That post read just fine until i came to that phrase. I cannot just let it pass. "by peggyM - AFIBBERS FORUM
TAF: Actually i think Dr Hao posted here a couple of times, using his own name, and a search on that name should bring up those posts, that is, unless they were in forum 4. PeggyMby peggyM - AFIBBERS FORUM
My experience with cardioversion is limited to 2 times last fall but it did not involve any discomfort at all. Sleep with propofol, awaken in NSR, was all there was to it. I did not go to our local butcher shop but to a better hospital several towns away. I did not hear any discussion of dosages or of anything else. All was done in a business like manner. Hello Antifib, would you answer an off the wall question? When i "talk" with you here i am getting an impression of talking with a man, not a woman. Is that correct? Not that it truly matters, idle curiosity. Dear Anti, About a year or so ago , though i do not remember the date, I tried to follow George's instructions above, but whether thru equipment failure or thru failure of "the nut behind the wheel", I could not bring up anything like what i remembered as The List, and i packed it in about marking List posts. Antifib, i have copied out your question so as to answer it. " What "List Posts made since session 61 closed" are you talking about the additions made later on the their original stories?" Session 61 was compiled by going into the archives, searching on the term "The List", At that time one could search the titles of posts separately from the texts, but that caby peggyM - AFIBBERS FORUM
Here is a post from 4/27, 2011, one of many where i have described afib frequency thru the years. If anyone is still curious about how often i get afib episodes, a search will turn up many more such posts. I have not exactly kept these things a secret, i do not think. At the time that post was made i was getting afib about once a month, usually when i either lapsed in supplement intakeby peggyM - AFIBBERS FORUM
" Are the studies there to show that Mg works?" What about session 61? Are we all liars, and what motive would we have had for telling such elaborate lies anyway? How was the telling of such false stories co-ordinated, especially between people not personally aquainted? None of us knew one another before posting here.
