Thanks for the link. After reading it, I think that I am mixed. Though more vagal than adrenergic.by amyorca - AFIBBERS FORUM
Because a couple of people suggested that may be the potassium was responsible for the change in my heart rate. I really don't know what I should do at this point.by amyorca - AFIBBERS FORUM
Well, this morning I went from short bursts of afib into a full blown episode. I took another magnesium and 1/2 a 12mg. Metropol and 1/2 60 mg diltiazam. Thankfully my heat rate has come down a bit but I am still in arrhythmia.by amyorca - AFIBBERS FORUM
How do you get an appointment with Dr. Natale ? I live on the west coast, where is the nearest center to here? How do you know if you are ready to have an ablation?by amyorca - AFIBBERS FORUM
How do you know if you are vagal or adrenergic? My afib follows no pattern. It is random.by amyorca - AFIBBERS FORUM
So I stopped taking potassium 4 days ago and I am still getting many short bursts of afib. I have increased the mount of magnesium. It seems that they are predominant in the morning after I wake up. Yesterday I had at least a dozen episodes before 10 in the morning. Then it just switched and I didn't have any the rest of the day. Again they have started today. I wish i knew what was gby amyorca - AFIBBERS FORUM
I have wondered how much potassium I should be taking. I will ask my doctor to check my magnesium and potassium levels. Is there an at home test I can buy? The afib seems to be calming down the last few days. I have increased my magnesium. Not sure why this is happening but I will reduce the potassium to see if that helps.by amyorca - AFIBBERS FORUM
Do you know if CircuFlow has any interactions with xeralto?by amyorca - AFIBBERS FORUM
What kind of testing do you suggest? I really dont seem to get any help from my doctors, but if i ask for certain tests they will usually do them.by amyorca - AFIBBERS FORUM
My symptoms do sound very similar to low blood volume. I also have had hot flashes for over 10 yrs. and I have felt that my heart issues are related to that. I have noticed that my adrenal system is way overactive. I am going to try the increased water and a little more salt, which I have been avoiding. Thank you so much for the info!by amyorca - AFIBBERS FORUM
I usually take 10 meq ex r potassium, which I now am taking 2 of those daily. Plus I drink V8 juice everyday. Now I am taking 600 mg bisglicinate magnesium daily. I don't get dizzy as much as out of breath when my heart does this. It doesn't only happen when I stand up, just seems more prevalent. I have had afib episodes pretty regularly every 6 months for the past 3 years. Usually the episodes would last about 12 hrs. But just over a week ago I began to have several short bursts of afib lasting maybe 1/2 minute or so but off and on throughout most of the day. It seems to come on after standing up from a sitting position, or just moving around. This has been going on every day for 8 dby amyorca - AFIBBERS FORUM
I have been having PACs every day, all day for over 3 weeks. I would estimate an average of 5 "skipped" beats a minute. But once I go to sleep, they stop and my heart goes into a normal rhythm until I get up. I had a difficult night trying to get to sleep last night. My heart was beating around 100 bpm and very irregular until about 1 am. I took a magnessium and another potassium,by amyorca - AFIBBERS FORUM
I have had these PACS daily for 3 weeks now. I have taken magnesium, potassium, drank water, V8 juice, watched my diet. But they are continuing. Nothing I do is helping.by amyorca - AFIBBERS FORUM
Thank you for reminding me about the V8 juice! I was drinking it regularly until recently. I just happened to buy some the other day. I take 10 meq ex r potassium every morning. A 200 mg bisglicinate magnesium and then 150 MG magnesium malate in the evening. Plus 1000 MG of vit d, 100 MG ubiquinol, and coenzyme b-complex with methylfolate . I take these every day. I think I am vagal by the description . However, I have only had afib 1 time in the night in bed. I don't get it when I am active. It is so random that it is hard to figure out what the trigger is. Do PACS map your heart like afib does? They stop when I am sleeping and then start up again upon awakening. This has been going on for almost a week. It is starting to wear on me. I have been having PACS for 4 or 5 days now. Also, my heart is not beating at a normal rhythm. It is too fast when I am doing very little and then it'll go slower when I am in motion. It is very disconcerting. Any suggestions? I have been careful about low sodium, taking magnesium, potassium and drinking lots of water. Yesterday I took 12 MG of metropolol to see if that helped.by amyorca - AFIBBERS FORUM
It has been 3 weeks since I stopped the diltiazem. I feel so much better! I was taking it in the morning as I take xeralto in the evening and there is a moderate interaction between the 2 drugs so I tried to space them out. Every morning I would get up and take the diltiazem. Within a short time I would get very tired and feel like I wanted to go back to bed. Not to mention that I was haviby amyorca - AFIBBERS FORUM

Do you take the 120 slow release when you are in afib? I have both 60 MG plus the 120 Sr. I also have 25 MG metropolol. Which do you think works best? The cardiologist did say I could take dilt for afib episodes, but really didn't get into the dosage info. Also with xeralto I am not sure which is scarier, taking it or not. I am 63 yrs old. I did not take the diltiazem yesterday first the 1st time in 3 yrs. I didn't notice anything different. I have not taken it today either. So far, so good. My next goal is to get off xeralto and take aspirin instead. The cardiologist said that I would have to take Plavix for a while before completely switching over to aspirin.by amyorca - AFIBBERS FORUM
That us something that I have noticed. If I don't drink enough water or don't eat properly, I will get PACS or afib.by amyorca - AFIBBERS FORUM
I talked to my pharmacist today and he told me that I can just stop the diltiazem. He said that you don't need to wean off of it. I am wondering if my afib snd PACs will increase once I stop it. What keeps me out of afib? I take daily magnesium supplements amongst other supplements. I do get PACS fairly regularly these days. Sometimes I can go months without having them. Ironically, just on the way home from the cardiologist last week I went into afib which set me back a bit. When I was at my appointment it had been 6 months since my last afib episode. I have been on 120 sr diltiazem for 3 yrs now. Lately I have started having some side effects from it, such as increased PACS and dizziness. The Dr told me that I could go off of it and that it didn't keby amyorca - AFIBBERS FORUM
I have been on xarelto for over 2 years. If you have insurance, xarelto offers a care plan where they pay for everything after the insurance company pays their portion. Therefore I have been paying 0$ for my monthly prescription.by amyorca - AFIBBERS FORUM

I bought the book Lonely Atria Fibrillation Towards a cure. Something in the introduction stood out to me Pheochromocytoma. I looked it up and it says that it is a usually benign tumour on the adrenal gland. I am not trying to over think this, but it would explain so many of my symptoms. Free T4 1.02 ng/dL 0.70 - 1.48 ng/dL This test was taken in 2015. I am not sure the difference between T4 free and T4, they both say Thyroxine. But one says free. I am pretty sure that it isn't low blood sugar. It feels like I am not getting enough blood circulation sometimes when I have PACS or afib. I guess that it could also be a bug of some kind.by amyorca - AFIBBERS FORUM
