Greetings all…. I have had 2 “full” ablations by Natale -first was to the usual areas for afib, second was to isolate the LAA (I had flutter after ablation number 1). Then had a watchman put in this last summer (he also did a short Touchup due to some tachycardia that started about 6 months after ablation number 2). So we are now 6 months since my watchman and short Touchup, and I am having a toby Cindy L - AFIBBERS FORUM
I am just finishing up my post 6 month monitor tomorrow but while dealing with all this tachy, I also got a cold. I noticed that I could convert with a good cough now and then. Got several 6-8 hour reprieves while on the monitor, so I am thinking mine is likely SVT as well. I tried The “blowing” technique as well, and it did work once as well. I am lucky that flecanide has previously controlled iby Cindy L - AFIBBERS FORUM
Local cardiologist is not an EP. I sent the 12 lead I captured locally to Natale about 2 weeks ago. We will see what his final determination is soon. I will let you know how it turns out. Thanks.by Cindy L - AFIBBERS FORUM
Yes, I had a 12 lead done…..it’s tachycardia per my cardiologist. Had a routine echo done last week and they confirmed it was tachycardia also. But we will see what Natale says after the monitor. His NP told me tachy is a problem more so with the LAA.by Cindy L - AFIBBERS FORUM
I have a 25 year history with paroxysmal afib. Managed with Pill in the pocket for years but after some further progression, went for ablation #1 in Austin February 2021 with Natale. The afib went but replaced by flutter. So in March 2022, I had the LAA ablated. He said everything was quiet from ablation # 1 still. All was quiet after the LAA ablation for 4 months…..but since then, tachycardia haby Cindy L - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hi Geocappy, I also had an ablation (touch up) with Natale today. I must be down the hall from you. My first ablation was March of 2021…..and per Natale today, no touch up was needed in those areas. I was having enough flutter post ablation that a ‘touch up’ was scheduled but ended up having my LAA ablated today. A watchman is in my future. But’s it’s all good. Very happy with my touch up todayby Cindy L - AFIBBERS FORUM
