Hi Kevin, I had my first episode a few weeks before you. On the night of my first vaccine. Sure the timing is hard to ignore and since then not one doctor has found it equally suspicious, but who knows. I was on a monitor at the time so I was having palpitations a couple weeks prior. Anyway, people here have a lot of insight, so take advantage. I had an ablation in October and am off Amiodaroby Thelonious71 - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hi Folks, Just wondering what I might expect after getting off amio, any possible effects other than the obvious good ones as it slowly filters out of your body? So far my sinus has been better for sure but Dr. will put me back on a monitor in a month or so to check more. Other than that my sleep has been on the short side for most of the time: 5-7 hours. Thanksby Thelonious71 - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hi Folks, I got a follow up from my Cardio dr. asking how I was after 5 days post ablation. I have felt ok and haven't had any irregular symptoms pertaining to my heart. I have felt typically relaxed after about day 4. Well she said they saw a mass about 2.5 by 3 cm on my liver and needed an MRI to be able to diagnise it better. Although I was tested as having high cholesterol at the time of the diagnosis and having slowly been reducing it with diet in the past few months successfully. I don't take any medications other than amio.I live in Asheville, NC. The day of the EP'sby Thelonious71 - AFIBBERS FORUM
I have been on a fast track with recent onset and diagnosis of Afib since May and set to do ablation in October. I never had any tell tale signs of Covid and never got tested. I was having heart palpitations after dinners and laying down. After using a monitor for a week, I had one day of Afib. The following week I took my first vaccine and went to the hospital that night 3am with Ventriuclarby Thelonious71 - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hi folks, I have been browsing here for the last week and find it quite engaging. I have some questions and would be grateful for any thoughts. I walked into my new primary care about 2 months ago for a physical and to bring up some heart palpitations I was having after eating and when I laid down for bed, strong on my left side. She got me a houlter monitor the next week, the week afterby Thelonious71 - AFIBBERS FORUM
