Yes. About 2 1/2 years ago and have used a CPAP faithfully since testing positive. It has helped tremendously though it hasn't "cured" my afib. I suspect it could have been a contributing factor in developing afib, though.by GaryPNW - AFIBBERS FORUM
Physical fatigue from exercise, salty fatty heavy meals, caffeine build up, emotional stress. Travel can combine most of these in one package for me and has triggered afib. Emotional stress induced adrenaline. I avoid emotionally stressful exchanges with people. It leads to uncomfortable palpitations and which on one occasion morphed into afib. I can tell I am due for an episode because of anby GaryPNW - AFIBBERS FORUM
In the beginning and early period of my afib episodes, my conversions back to NSR were preceded by a calming of my irregular rhythm which converted to NSR at about 60 BPM. My resting BPM is usually in the low 50's. More recently however a new pattern has developed where my now more typical 120 BPM AFIB might oscillate to what feels like a rapid,90 BPM,NSR and then back to AFIB. I know that flecainide sounds like a scary drug, but I have taken it since 2011 at 50 mg 2x per day and then for 2 more years at 100 mg 2x per day. I can't attribute any specific side effects to taking it. Actually in my case it has been very helpful.by GaryPNW - AFIBBERS FORUM

I would comment that I recently purchased an Apple Watch with the EKG feature in mind, though I was aware of its limitations. I did have a bout of Afib last week. The EKG couldn't be analyzed by the watch because of a heart rate out of limits. More than 120 I believe. I could see it being useful for someone who is asymptomatic with a slower pulse, but that isn't the case for me. Whby GaryPNW - AFIBBERS FORUM
