Carey, I’m not sure why I think that either?? Thanks for the info….going to the link now.by lds001 - AFIBBERS FORUM
I have been having lots of sinus problems this last year and trying to stay away from sinus surgery. I had sinus surgery 10 years ago and would not like to go through it again! So Im trying all sorts of Netty pots and nasal washes and they seem to be helping most of the time. I do a gentamicin nasal wash and take a Cortisone nose spray… that holds my sinuses in check fairly well, but it’s not coby lds001 - AFIBBERS FORUM
I have some type of inflammation or sinus issue going on for a few weeks now. My ENT says I don’t have a sinus infection, but my eyes, and sinuses and nose feel so inflamed. I do not have allergies. She suggested I try Claritin along with my cortisone nose spray. Does anyone know if antihistamines are ok to take with A Fib......I know not the take the antihistamine with the “D” behind the nby lds001 - AFIBBERS FORUM

Ghost, I have had 3 AF episodes and everyone of them happened as you described. All revolving around bed, waking, falling asleep, turning over, etc. Now the last year.....nothing.....nada....zilch.....Ive gone to bed, and turned and fallen asleep , etc.....and not one episode. So, the quest for the elusive trigger is sometimes worth giving up...maybe? I think sometimes trying to find theby lds001 - AFIBBERS FORUM
QuoteJackie lds101 - You may not have read this report from long ago posted in the Conference Room Sessions link on the topic of Left Side vs Right Side... written by Patric Chambers, MD who was actively participating in the forum back then. There may be a nugget or two that addresses what you've mentioned. Jackie Very interesting article.......I just know I don’t want to lay onby lds001 - AFIBBERS FORUM
QuoteElizabeth IDS 001 Sounds like an Aura Migraine to me---I get those, I have since my early 20s and I am now 80. I got only a couple a year until I started getting AF then I might get a couple a month now, I can't take some supplements as they will give me those Aura Migraines. Yes, they start with a zigzag flashes of light and depending where it hits you in your eye they can obstrucby lds001 - AFIBBERS FORUM
QuoteCarey Glad to hear that. It probably is just a migraine but better safe than sorry! I totally agree...My MRA was normal.....I still have a headache/nausea....ugh. My Doc said if it should happen again to go to the ER Thanks! Lindaby lds001 - AFIBBERS FORUM
Carey, I saw my doc.....she feels I had a complex migraine...however she is going to have me go and have a stroke protocol MRI......today. Thanks for your help!by lds001 - AFIBBERS FORUM
Carey,I just saw your email. It’s 8 AM and I am sitting at my internist office. My EP,s office is on the floor above me so one way or another I will make sure I get the appropriate urgent care neededby lds001 - AFIBBERS FORUM
Totally confused and soooo anxious. This morning I had zig zags and distortions in my eyes and couldn’t read all the letters on my page. (It was not symptoms of a retinal tear or detachment) ...I had this once before, maybe one year ago. Both times I assumed it was an Aural Migraine and in awhile I would get a headache...but not a huge headache. Tonight I feel pretty tired and still have aby lds001 - AFIBBERS FORUM
My 3rd and last AF episode started immediately after I rolled onto my left side when trying to get to sleep. Then I read somewhere that sleeping on your left Side can be a trigger for AF. I haven’t slept on my left side since that night and I MISS sleeping on my left side. Is this a “tale” or is it true? Thanks!by lds001 - AFIBBERS FORUM
A have only had three Afib episodes In about 3 years ........but....the moment the AFib episodes start to increase.....the minute my EP say yes....I will have an Ablation. I am probably in the minority, but I fear the medications used to treat AF more than I fear the Ablation.by lds001 - AFIBBERS FORUM
My EKG questions are answered. Thank you for your help!by lds001 - AFIBBERS FORUM
George, Thanks for trying to help. I got the document to Dropbox.....but the rest is beyond my understanding. Way beyond... Lindaby lds001 - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hi! I have a Kardia EKG in my e mail that I would like to post here....but I am unsure how to do it. Does anyone know how? Thanks!! Lindaby lds001 - AFIBBERS FORUM
QuoteCarey That's pretty cool. Of course, the ironic part is those catheters and the procedures were probably all tested on dogs and pigs before they ever touched a human. So it comes full circle? My thought exactly !by lds001 - AFIBBERS FORUM
My EP said ok to NSAIDS while on Elequis....but limit duration. He never mentioned them as a potential trigger.by lds001 - AFIBBERS FORUM
I have a Kardia that I purchased about six months ago. Do I need to do anything to get this new update? Or does it just magically appear from the Kardia end.by lds001 - AFIBBERS FORUM
So, my doc has always said if it lasts more than eight hours I need to go to the hospital, but that is because of blood clot potential. I have Eilquis at home...that i have not used....take that with. So if I’m on my trip and my AFIB starts up .....do what I normally do, and live my life....... if the symptoms aren’t too bad. And if it lasts more than seven hours or so start taking Eliquisby lds001 - AFIBBERS FORUM
I am 71 and I have had a fib for three years. I have had three episodes about one every year and they generally last for about four hours and then convert on their own. In April I am supposed to drive down to Iowa to see a friend. It’s a 4 Hour drive through farm country. When I get there it’s a small town without any large medical facilities.....I Know I would not be very comfortable if Iby lds001 - AFIBBERS FORUM
I ditto what Carey said.....I’d check with your doc. I hope this next year is better for you!by lds001 - AFIBBERS FORUM

So if I was a 2 before.....1point for being 71 and 1 point for being female.... am I now a 1.... where I used to be a 2? So how does that affect what I take..... if anything for an anticoagulant?by lds001 - AFIBBERS FORUM
I saw the guidelines had changed for anticoagulant therapy if you have Afib....however I can not find a new chart showing the changes or any articles about the change...can anyone point me in the right direction...or if you have a link...thanks! Lindaby lds001 - AFIBBERS FORUM
Until last week I had had 2 AFib episodes in about 19 months. Now last week I had a 3rd one and last night I had one. All happen at night and all have lasted about 2 - 4 hours and then resolved on their own. I saw the EP nurse after last weeks episode and it was decided not to do antirhhymic drugs at this point as I don’t tolerate drugs well and to just keep me on my beta blocker.by lds001 - AFIBBERS FORUM
Did anyone ever respond to you regarding this issue? I wish I knew what was going on....I would help in a second.by lds001 - AFIBBERS FORUM
