Is Doctors Best still considered a very good magnesium supplement. I am currently taking Pure Encapsulations Magnesium glycinate. I know Doctors Best is a tablet as opposed to a capsule but I wasn't sure if that made any difference. Does anyone here swear by Doctors Best and why? Thanks!by greyhound gal - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM
I used it during my blanking period but at the end of the 2nd month my Dermatologist told me to go off of it as it was causing a rash around my whole middle torso and arms. While I was on it I felt like i was walking slow motion when I walked around the block but it was effective for what it was intended.by greyhound gal - AFIBBERS FORUM
Dumb question but is there any danger from an electric blanket/throw/pad in causing/triggering any type of arrhythmia/irregular heartbeat/afib? The internet is not of any help to me here for some reason. (Wasn't sure whether to post this to health forum or not.)by greyhound gal - AFIBBERS FORUM
I only take a 5 mcg Cytomel split. Take 2.5 at 5 am and 2.5 at 2 pm. If I take any more I also get nervous. I could NEVER take the full 5 mcg once a day. It reaches its peak at 4 hours and after 8 hours is pretty much done.by greyhound gal - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM
What was your Free T4? (The acceptable range is way too high for afib patients). I can not let mine get over 1.20. I also keep my TSH around .50. I also take Cytomel (T3) and keep my Free T3 around 3.0.by greyhound gal - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM

Jackie: "I'll start feeling those 'ripples of both pain and itching' across my upper back, and the FamVir always prevents it from progressing." How much Acyclovir do you take when this happens and for how long? Do you take 400 or 800 mg and how many times per day to stop it?by greyhound gal - AFIBBERS FORUM

I have terrible chest congestion from a cold and I want to know what is safe to take? My chest burns when I cough up the phlegm. I have just been drinking very warm water and tea to release the phlegm. I was reading on the internet that Mucinex which I used to use increases the heart rate and even read where is could trigger afib. I know I shouldn't take the meds with ephedrine but what iby greyhound gal - AFIBBERS FORUM

Thank you guys! You are making me feel better about this, somewhat. . The Mepivacaine is supposed to be a non-epinephrine anesthetic so I will probably be given that again.by greyhound gal - AFIBBERS FORUM
In June of 2017 I discovered that I had afib after a dental appointment whereby I was having a large silver amalgam filling removed and they used an anesthetic called Mepivacaine. The dentist already knew that I was sensitive to the regular ephenephrine. They took precautions for the amalgam removal but I had a terrible reaction. He injected me twice. Don't know if it was the anesthetic orby greyhound gal - AFIBBERS FORUM
I am not sending any to the doctors. At visits I will mention that I have it and see if they are interested in receiving ANY. That is it. My primary said that it is better for pulse than the Omron as the Omron can miss some of the beats which make the Kardia a little more accurate on the pulse. I think that was the gist of what he was saying. My primary was the one that originally showed iby greyhound gal - AFIBBERS FORUM
I use Toms of Maine Fluoride Free "Sensitive" Toothpaste; but it does have SLS. I have not been able to find another Sensitive toothpaste that was fluoride free. I also use Eco-Dent Gentle Floss (fluoride free) Premium Floss with all natural essential oils - Mint, 100% Vegan waxed (Non-beeswax and non-mineral wax.)by greyhound gal - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM
Today I registered my new Kardia unit and sent for my first electrocardiogram review. First one is free! Review is now back. I now know what a PAC is because I was feeling these strange beats while taking the Kardia reading for 30 seconds. I have been feeling them all morning. Results: Sinus Rhythm with single pacs. It also states that it is a normal heart rate & rhythm of the heby greyhound gal - AFIBBERS FORUM
George, this is exactly my same problem. They have now taken me off the T3 I was taking because they are trying to blame it for the afib when it was the T4 I took for years to keep suppressed since 2008 for papillary thyroid cancer that kept sending me to ER. I am now going immediately to Paula Luber MD to get back on very small compounded T3 to take several times a day if my blood test shows tby greyhound gal - AFIBBERS FORUM

I had a great day yesterday; all of the allergic reactions were pretty much dissipated so went to bed at 10 pm after a nice long walk and taking a 25 mg metropolol succinate at 8. Then, at 1:28 Bam! Palps.! By the time I got to the Omron my pulse was at 127 - blood pressure normal. Popped a 12.5 metropolol tartrate that I had. Beta blocker kicked in I guess 10 minutes later and pulse back downby greyhound gal - AFIBBERS FORUM

THANK YOU Jackie for all of the helpful information/links. Before I started taking the Eliquis I was on Procaps "Circulation and Vein Control" which had Pine Bark, Butchers Broom and Grape Seed Extract as well as Diosmin, Hesperidin, and Rutin. Guess I will go back on it. I was also on Omega 3's with more DHA than EPA. I also can go back on my Vitamin K1 and K2. Am interestedby greyhound gal - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hi Liz, thanks for responding. I can not take Natto because I am on Thyroid medication - Synthroid 50 mcg/day. Back in October when I was on Synthroid 75 mcg/day I ended up in E/R and my Endo took me down to 50 mpg. My Free T4 has now gone down from around 1.50 to .92-.99 and that is where my Endo wants It. If I took Natto it would somehow effect the absorption of the little Synthroid that Iby greyhound gal - AFIBBERS FORUM

This all started in the middle of June when I had to go and have a large silver amalgam tooth refilled. I was shot twice with mepivacaine and on my way home started these horrible palpitations like I had never felt before. Called the Dentist when I got home about the reaction and he said that He did not give me that much and that "something else must be going on". For a week I was goby greyhound gal - AFIBBERS FORUM
