Here's one of the AI guided ablation companies: Article Linkby Fibbin AFib - AFIBBERS FORUM
Found this interesting... Article Link There are also 2 companies I know of testing AI to assist ablation procedures to help predict rotors. I'll dig up those companies tomorrow. One is in VT, the other CA.by Fibbin AFib - AFIBBERS FORUM
Just read this article. Seems interesting, but a little too "easy". Anyone know anything more on this? AFib Article Linkby Fibbin AFib - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hello all, Just wanted to report on my use of the Alivecor KardiaMobile device over roughly a 2 year period. This is a quick review of the performance, quality, and customer support. Just a quick background on myself, I have a strong Electrical/Computer Engineering background in working with small, embedded devices such as this, and even participated in some open source ECG projects that wereby Fibbin AFib - AFIBBERS FORUM
I got walking pneumonia in May 2018. After only having a handful a year, I immediately started getting PVCs up to 10 a minute for short stretches but normally 1 every 1 to 5 minutes. They would go in and out for months. They finally calmed down last month.by Fibbin AFib - AFIBBERS FORUM
Jackie, Thanks for the info. I cut back below 1g of K a day. I know I go through K fast as my blood readings are always on the low side (3.7-3.9). I was below 3.0 when I went into afib, so I have been trying to keep up with my body. All kidney function checked out OK through a huge battery of tests. I am under high stress constantly (I am a partner of a startup company). Maybe I should up tby Fibbin AFib - AFIBBERS FORUM
Thanks for the feedback, all. Jackie, I currently take about 600-800mg of a mix of magnesium glycinate (Doctors Best) and Mg taurate. In addition I do 6 sprays of Mg oil morning and night and leave it on. K I take about 3g of KCl powder over the day with food.by Fibbin AFib - AFIBBERS FORUM
So I posted a while ago that in May, out of no where, I started getting PVCs at about a rate of 1 every 15 secs to 5 minutes, depending on the time of day. Nothing seems to control of affect them, i.e., electrolyte supplements (2.5 months on Jackie's Mg/K replenishment), diet watching, exercise, etc. I went to see my cardiologist who looked at the ECG, referenced my echo cardiogram I did a yby Fibbin AFib - AFIBBERS FORUM
Thanks all for the input. Wolfpack, I don't think it is flutter due to the possible missing P Wave (i can see it peaking thru on some of the Ts, and the Kardia sometimes has trouble capturing them) and the single Wave, whatever it is, between QRS segments. I am thinking it was more of an SVT, the more comparisons I do... Missing P Waves, with regular intervals. I also have a run of siby Fibbin AFib - AFIBBERS FORUM
Just got back from my Cardiologist who couldn't decide if this was afib or SVT below. It's been about 2 years since I had my first afib episode that was mainly due to low potassium. I have been taking Magnesium and Potassium supplements and I thought things were normal, but a week ago I just sat down at my computer to do some work when I felt "anxious" in my chest. I grabbed mby Fibbin AFib - AFIBBERS FORUM
Just a note, my first cardiologist told me magnesium supplementation was worthless. I showed him the studies, including the magnesium sulfate IVs that converted people into NSR in the ER. He still said it was worthless. I found a new cardiologist.by Fibbin AFib - AFIBBERS FORUM
Catherine, The reviews for the magnesium supplement from Cardiovascular Research LTD you gave state that they recently changed the formula and it, unfortunately, is for the worst. Check out some of the reviews for yourself. I found them interesting enough that I ended up with this one: Magnesium Supplement Can't vouch for it yet, but that other one doesn't seem so good anymore.by Fibbin AFib - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hello all, Just wondering if others that are experiencing afib, SVTs, PVCs, etc. have a history of abnormal ECGs, specifically with flattened T Waves or depressed S-T segments with no indication of ischemia or other heart diseases. I have had a flattened T Wave for the last 20 years that I know of and it seems things are slowly progressing down the line of me getting constant afib. I have onlyby Fibbin AFib - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hello everyone, sorry for not replying, but my notifications that there were replies were going to spam :/ Anyway, I appreciate the dialog. It seems the PVCs have slowed down to a handful a day again. They still come back for 5 minutes here and there, or I may get 3 to 5 sinus tachycardia beats in a row. But they seem to be slowly going back to "normal". My kidneys were checked baby Fibbin AFib - AFIBBERS FORUM
After almost 2 years of being symptom free from my first AF episode, I started having a cluster of weird ectopics that started on Friday. I was feeling unusually "edgy" and started having runs of PVCs (I can see in my Kardia ECGs) about 1 every minute for 5 to 15 minutes at a time. Then they go away for an hour or so, then come back. They seem to happen when my resting heart rate staysby Fibbin AFib - AFIBBERS FORUM
You know the one thing I forgot to mention in my list of things they found when I got my first (and only - fingers crossed) afib episode was beyond the low blood potassium, 2+ energy drinks a day, and undiagnosed sleep apnea... for lunch I had eaten some Pad Thai with a friend's homemade Carolina Reaper (700x hotter than jalapenos) pepper mash all over it. I wonder if that helped with the meby Fibbin AFib - AFIBBERS FORUM
Just ran across this article from 2013. Has anyone heard anything new? It is rather alarming that these brain lesions show up in a majority of people after ablation. Libby, Yes, it was Natural Calm. I don't seem to have a problem with it, but mixing it up is a pain, not to mention bringing it on flights. Jackie, Sorry for the delay. I have been on extended travel for work. I will PM you. Thank you for all the info!by Fibbin AFib - AFIBBERS FORUM
Jackie, So did eating the protein get rid of that weird jittery feeling? When I'm feeling like that for a few days, that is when I have more PACs and tachy. I think my extended "lower range" tachy is more from anxiety. It usually happens when I am traveling, which I do a lot. I do use a lot of Potassium Chloride since I eliminate it quicker than normal. There seems to be a curse of this board that when you post an update, something happens. I woke up at 5am this morning, on my right side, to the feeling of anxiety in my chest and a rapid heart rate. I noticed it kept going until I stood up to get my Kardia. At which point I measured it at 133bpm with a normal SNR. Over then next 2 mins it returned to 72bpm, which is my normal. Hello all, The morning of Aug 31st is my first year anniversary since entering the club. I woke up around 3am with what I knew was not a normal HR with palpitations, so I headed to the ER where I stayed in afib for about 8 hours before I converted to NSR. This was after they got my potassium up (it was well below normal). So, I have been free for a year now, I think, but some new things have cby Fibbin AFib - AFIBBERS FORUM
Wolfpack and Jackie, Thanks for the info and kind words. It makes me feel better that I can keep in NSR for quite some time (hopefully). JayBros, I have been to the cardiologist quite a few times. In fact wearing a 30 day monitor for a second time to catch this weird heart thumping I got twice per my message above in the last month. Hello all, this is my first post. I am 43, decent health (with the caveat Iām about 15 lbs overweight at 6ā2ā and 215 lbs) and fairly active. On in August of 2016 I woke up with AFib with RVR. I headed to the Duke Medicine ER in NC in the early morning thinking I my time was up.
