I would add that my husband also does very intense exercise. We very specifically described the exercise for Dr. Natale and asked if it was safe to continue post-ablation. His response was a resounding yes, and he said that he felt that on balance, particularly for someone as young as my husband (he is in his 40s), exercise is very beneficial. Re: anxiety - it's possible you're not tolerating the metropolol well. My husband was put on it some years ago and kept having anxiety and panic attacks. When they took him off it, everything was fine again.by KristinaL - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hi all...my husband has had AF for 16 years, which has been well controlled by Flecainide. He had a flutter ablation about 7 years ago, but now he's having daily breakthroughs of AF. We've met with Dr. Natale and were, of course, impressed, and are scheduling an ablation with him.
