Smackman, was that a Natale decision? And, yes, the cost of Eliquis is outrageous.by Cevetello - AFIBBERS FORUM
Would be nice to be in that 40%. I have a better understanding now. I’ll keep you posted on my return. Thank you, Victoriaby Cevetello - AFIBBERS FORUM
Carey, thank you for your most informative reply. Gives me a lot to think about and in the end I’ll probably go with Natale’s recommendation. One other thought, do you know of anyone that didn’t need the watchman after having the velocity test? Thanks Victoriaby Cevetello - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hi, I had my LAA ablated in late July 2020 and am now scheduled to see Dr Natale on May 5th for a TEE to measure the velocity. He will also be advising me as to whether I will need a Watchman which he will put in on the following day. I have read that some people, even after the Watchman procedure, will have to stay on Eliquis for life. Has anyone from this forum not needed to have a Watchmanby Cevetello - AFIBBERS FORUM
Thanks everyone for sharing your experience. So appreciate it.by Cevetello - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hi all, I am coming up on the end of the three month blanking on October 28. I’m feeling really well. My LAA ablation with Dr Natales was on July 28. I am now in normal rhythm and off flecanide and it sure feels good. I continue to take Eliquis, and will be meeting again with Dr Natales in three months. My heart rate is unusually high for me, running between 85 and 95 most of the day.I was toldby Cevetello - AFIBBERS FORUM
AB PAGE Thank you for your well wishes. I’m in the blanking period and taking it slow. Did you have an ablation with Dr.Natale?by Cevetello - AFIBBERS FORUM
My journey with a fib began in 2015. I was very symptomatic and had very poor quality of life. In 2016 I had a six hour ablation at NYU in New York City because a friend went there and hers was successful. Then six months later I had the 2nd ablation. When that failed and I was told I needed a third i wasn’t going back to that EP. I discovered this wonderful forum and decided it would be with Drby Cevetello - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hi, wanted to share with you my recent ablation with Dr Natale on July 28. It was quite a positive experience and thanks to Shannon, who ushered me through this flawlessly, it all went very smoothly. Shannon was with me every step of the way, before during and after, and I am eternally grateful to him. I’m three weeks out right now and having a few etopics or PAC’s I think they call them but allby Cevetello - AFIBBERS FORUM

Thank you all for your reassuring replies. I will be in touch again as I make my way through this journey. You are all so helpful and calming. And thank you Shannon for remembering me. Victoriaby Cevetello - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hi to all. I posted here a few years ago and actually was in touch with the always helpful Shannon. However I did not go through with the ablation. This last month the medications seem to fail and I am reconsidering. I wanted to know if anyone has had an ablation with Dr Natale during this epidemic and had to travel by plane and stay at local hotels. Thanks much. Victoriaby Cevetello - AFIBBERS FORUM
Yes, most people haven’t had this happen. Thanks for your replyby Cevetello - AFIBBERS FORUM

Hi Ken Do you mind my asking who did your ablation? Thank you. Vickieby Cevetello - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hi NewYorker, I read your story with tears. My journey with Afib began on Oct 15, 2015. I live in NJ. At hospital, I was put on medications and was extremely symptomatic. My Afib lasted many hours and I was always weak, breathless, and feeling faint. I had 2 failed ablations at NYU. After 2nd ablation which took a lot of courage, I developed appendicitis and complications and the infection brougby Cevetello - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hi Ilona, I am new to this forum. I saw Dr Natale in Oct 2017 in Austin. We decided to wait awhile before having another ablation. However, I have started to get fib more frequently and now have to decide when I want to have this done. I saw that some of you had it done by Natale in Montefiore Hospital in NY. Is that a possibility? that would be so much easier for me since I live alone and dby Cevetello - AFIBBERS FORUM
