Is taking VitaminD 125mcg with K complex 1100 mcg, ok while taking Eliquis? Don't you need K to delivery D? .I test very low on D.. Thank you!by Jake - AFIBBERS FORUM
I had surgery, listened to the surgeon, went off Eliquis, had a stroke before I could start taking it again.by Jake - AFIBBERS FORUM
Just had a wonderful informative conversation with Shannon who addressed all my questions & concerns. I will be going back to Austin to see the best Dr Natale who remembered my case.. This forum is such a valuable resource & lucky to have someone like Shannon to be our advocate. I feel so grateful to come here & get my questions answered & my concerns addressed. Thank you!by Jake - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hi all, I have had two ablations with Dr Natale. Within a year after my 2nd ablation I had Cardiomyopathy dealing with the sudden death of my son. I then had surgery due to an abscess on my colon. Before I could go back on Eliquis, I had a stroke, it wasn't a serious event. I have eye/sight issues and high blood pressure , that I didn't have before. Memory issues come & go. Thank you all for your comments. I try research & opinions to reach a decision with guideness of my EP, who interesting enough just came back from a conference with Dr Natale.by Jake - AFIBBERS FORUM
Carey, I have taken Bystolic, Lisinopril, Labetalol . I was taken Metoprolol & started with dizziness so I switched to Valsartan & only take metoprolol when needed for rate control which is seldom. The dizziness persisted with Valsartan. Im very symptomatic. Several Drs feel the dizziness is coming from the blood pressure medicine. I do not experience low blood pressure. I am on Eliquis 5mg twice a day. I have high blood pressure & can't take BP meds due to a lot of side effects. I was thinking of taking neo40, which is Nitric Oxide 425mg. I can't find any information if its ok to take while taking Eliquis. Neo40 suggest I ask my cardiologist. I wasn't surprise when I asked & it was a big NO, reason was, do not take any supplements they areby Jake - AFIBBERS FORUM

Gill, good to know. I have those same fluttery feelings. What still concerns me is the ache I get to the left of heart? I was on Bystolic & switched to a calcium blocker Lisinopril. Wonder if that had anything to do with it?by Jake - AFIBBERS FORUM
Fibrillator, You sound like me in Afib. Im pretty sure the 1st two ablations fix my Afib , but these PSVT are something else. Cant tell you which is worse. Just hope its ugly head stays down until I hear from Dr Natales office. You will have some odd beats, it comes with the healing process. Enjoy your NR & good luck!by Jake - AFIBBERS FORUM
Libby, even though I had something every year, it was still worth it to me to get the ablations. My quality of life is so much better. To me once a year is well worth it. If I need a 3rd I will do it. Waiting for this monster to rule my life again is worth the effort to fix it. Hope you feel better soon.by Jake - AFIBBERS FORUM
Liz, I think your comment is very valid. My sister has AF & it doesn't bother her at all. Because of that she won't consider an ablation. I on the other hand just could not live with it for my rate was too high & it drove me nuts. Thats a good example of how we all are different. However Libby, Im very interested on the comment about remodeling and enlarging the atrium due to Aby Jake - AFIBBERS FORUM
Good questions Eliz and good answers Carey. Thank youby Jake - AFIBBERS FORUM
Thank you Carey, I left the ER without discharge papers or further explanation . I was in a total brain fog & was discharged while the ER was dealing with a serious problem. I do recall them saying SVT. I have left a message with Dr Natales office. My local cardiologist has done all the mentioned testing due to presistent chest pain that has baffled him. The SVT is new. Hello, I don't post here often, but I value the opinions. In 2014 I had an ablation with Dr. Natale in Austin. I return to Austin in 2015 for a 2nd ablation which isolated my LAA. 2016 I was hospitalized for cardiomyopathy for three days due to the sudden death of my son. Who died due to an enlarged heart (unbeknownst to anyone). My fraction rate returned to normal after a few months.by Jake - AFIBBERS FORUM
Thank you Betty, Yes I am working with Dr Natales office. They have agreed on what my local cardiologist is doing. I was in the hospital for three days. My fraction rate was 33%. I was in a mental brain fog & it was over a weekend. They did a cardio cauterization because one cardiologist thought for sure I had a blockage. I did not, had clear arteries. No heart damage. Went home with a lifby Jake - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hi Betty, Is cardiomyopathy considered a heart attack? Did Dr Natale call it that? I too recently had cardiomyopathy on 8/13/2016 after the sudden death of my son. They called it broken heart syndrome. I had two ablations with Natale. Last one was a LAA isolation on 9/18/2015. I still have chest discomfort & pain. Are you experiencing anything like that? Best wishes, Jakeby Jake - AFIBBERS FORUM
Thank you Shannon. I really do think the joint pain is from coming off the anti-inflammatorys. Besides that I have no other issues with Eliquis other then I have to deal with the pain with no relief. I needed sleep one night so I skipped the 2nd dosage of Eliguis to take 800mg of Ibuprofen. Im sure that was not a good thing to do, but it sure gave me some relief. You make a very good pointby Jake - AFIBBERS FORUM
Thank you so much Jackie..as soon as I started taking the full doze of Eliguis there was joint pain & swelling. I feel like the Tin man on Oz. Yes I would agree with you about the red wine and sulfate content. For some reason I confused sulfate with flavonoids. I don't go near red wine anymore, sometimes I think if I even smell it it affects me. Good point about alcohol depleting maby Jake - AFIBBERS FORUM
Thank you Peggy. Its a new product that my Holistic MD is very excited about & has a lot of patients that are very happy with it. However Im his only Afib patient with Lyme disease that may be taking it? I don't need any stimulants as we all know with Afib. I am concern with the green tea & flavonoids in it for I have always been sensitive to those. I was just hoping this fourm wouldby Jake - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hi folks, I very seldom post. I have read the bulletin board for years. I have had two ablations with Dr. Natale. I am still on Eliquis from my last LAA isolation on 9/18/2015. I am having a lot of pain and inflammation in my joints mostly from arthritis and Lyme disease. I managed this before by taking Meriva-SR, which I cannot take it while on blood thinners.
