My heart is finally getting quieter after six weeks. Last week I stayed in NSR for 3 days and today is my 4th day of being in NSR, but I am still short of breath. Don't know if it is my age (75), or the extent of the ablation that is causing these problems. I just read Tim's post that said he is back to work after a week. I'm retired, but if I was still working, I would just noby Jean - AFIBBERS FORUM

Hi all, I had an ablation by Dr. Wharton in Charleston, S.C. on 1/23/14. For several days I was in NSR, but started going into AF every 2 or 3 days with two episodes lasting 26 hours. For the past 10 days I go into AF every day for a few hours and sometimes have several episodes in one day. Does this mean the ablation is a failure? Prior to the ablation I was in AF every 4 to 6 weeks, wiby Jean - AFIBBERS FORUM

Thanks everybody. Researcher, this is the first time I've looked at this board in a couple of years and since I had not read your post on robotics you didn't scare me. It's just that all my tissues are thin from years of prednisone and I don't want to take a chance with robotics. Thanks for being concerned and responding. Jeanby Jean - AFIBBERS FORUM
Thanks for your responses. Chuck, I called and was unable to reach his nurse. The person I talked with said I would need to send them my medical records and they would schedule an appointment after they received the records. But, I would like to know if he uses robotics prior to that. I don't want an ablation by robotics, so there would be no need to schedule an appoitment if he uses robby Jean - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hi all, It has been a long time since I posted, but I have a question. Does anyone know if Dr. Wharton uses robotics for his ablation technique? I am considering an ablation with him. Thanks for your advice, Jeanby Jean - AFIBBERS FORUM
