Jackie: "Both were avid fans of canned diet Pepsi, had very ‘picky’ diets and were not fond of veggies and fruit. Drank alcohol moderately. Both were smokers; one stopped in her 30’s. George: There have been reports all over the country of people being kicked out of their policies, they have gone to the exchanges and found that their insurance will be much higher with a higher deductible. I guess we will have to see what will happen, hope it works out for you. I would say if anybody is thinking seriously about an ablation with Natale, they probably better do it before it is too late. You may not be able to go out of network to get Natale or another doctor that you may want, also the hospital. Nancy M. If you take calcium, you do have to take synthroid about 4 hours later, calcium interferes with the uptake of the thyroid hormone. I take vit K, never paid any attention to a time period between taking it and synthroid, K2 plays a role in bone health, so does magnesium, I have never heard that there has to be a time period between taking vit K and synthroid. Nancy: Never heard of a any doctor, Holistic or traditional, that does not use bloodwork to tell him about his patient, I go to a holistic doctor and he takes about 15 vials of blood, I go twice a year. I am sorry but testing with ART sounds rather weird. You can find a lot of stuff on the net about using corn syrup/hydrochloride acid which is used to make ascorbic acid (vit C. However I took my piece from : written by Michael and Nora Wohlfeld---I would say that Dr. Szent-Gyorgyi. winner of a Nobel Prize, says that the most effective way to get your vit. I didn't realize just how bad the wrong vit. C is----most health food stores sell this kind of vit. C and according to the following article can cause a multitude of problems. Many bottles of ascorbic acid are purchased every day under the misguided assumption that ascorbic acid is the same as Vitamin C. In reality, ascorbic acid is an isolated nutrient that is part of Vitamin C but itby Elizabeth - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM
Lynn: I also just take the Propafenone only once/day (night), I am vagal and get my episodes in the late evening or during the night. Most docs say to take one tab. every 8 hrs. to keep a steady supply in your system. My EP felt that the tab. at bedtime would work the best for me. Lynn: I take propafenone (150mg.) at night before bed, I am vagal. My EP never said I needed to start the med in the hospital, so I never did, I also do not take a beta blocker with it, Propafenone has some beta blocker in it. Taking the propafenone every night plus magnesium has helped me a lot, I also eat quite well as I grow my own veggies/fruits. Why not try the propafenone either as aby Elizabeth - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hans: You will be missed, thank you for creating this site. When I first had AF, it was frightening, I made it worse by being panicky. By finding this site and reading the posts and much of the informative writings that you have complied on AF, calmed me and I started to control my AF rather than AF controlling me, a big Thank you Hans. Well, then there is me---I cannot take Coumadin, it caused the whites of my eyes to get bloodshot, just a little pressure and my thumb filled with blood. I was told by my EP to stop the Coumadin. I saw my EP about a month ago and asked him about the other blood thinning drugs and he said that I would react the same way as I did to the Coumadin. Now, my rate in AF is In the upper 80s , low 90s, I know because I take my pulse. I don't know how anyone can tolerate a heartbeat of 300, I would think that the heart rate varies in most Afibbers.
