Does anyone know if the Ancient Minerals brand of MgCl is safe? (from contamination)by LaniB - AFIBBERS FORUM
Thanks Jackie for all of your good information. I have read about LCarnitine, D Ribose, Taurine, for AF. Do you mind telling how much of each you need to take?by LaniB - AFIBBERS FORUM
Jackie, thanks for the great report on proper magnesium absorption from 2010!! Do you know of any health praticioners which are well versed in this, as well as controlling AF? I am a retired RDH too! Would love to correspond if you ever have time. lanibel1980@gmail.com, 239-826-5647by LaniB - AFIBBERS FORUM
Thanks so much for your report, Jackie! I printed it to read over and over. Thank you George for your information! I wish I had met you both a year ago when I was having Afib 100-120 bpm for 12+ hours every other day. It started a year before that but there were so many breaks in between episodes I denied it. I don't know why I was so calm about it. It would always happen jusby LaniB - AFIBBERS FORUM
George N, How did you get your RBC Mg up to 7? and how long did it take? Did you use ReMag or some other form? Did you use transdermal? If so, in what form, how much, how long on the skin? Are you maintaining it at 7? Have you had ablation/ablations? on any meds? Sorry about all of the questions, but you seem so willing to help. Laniby LaniB - AFIBBERS FORUM
If you don't get a laxative effect, you probably aren't getting too much. Best way to know your status is to get a Red Blood Cell Magnesium test from request a test.com. You order the test for yourself, and pay for it online. then take the order they send you to either LabCorps or Quest and you'll have your resutt in a couple of days on their website. You want to be between 6 ndby LaniB - AFIBBERS FORUM
I've never been cardioverted. It is there most of the time when in AF. . It's definitely a nerve, if I scratch or rub it, it will go away for a while. It returns though. When I was on Amiodarone for about 3 weeks, 2 of the 3 weeks i didn't feel it at all. Then tapered off Amio and had a ablation done on May 11, by Dr. Hranitzky in Raleigh. I was afraid to fly at that time,by LaniB - AFIBBERS FORUM
Has anyone ever experienced sort of a mild itchy, tingly, nervy feeling right where fingers would touch left thigh while standing? and could it possibly be tied to Afib? For the past six months or so when I'm in AF, it's there, . When I'm free of AF it's not there. If it's some sort of nerve issue, I wonder if anyone knows which B vitamin, food or other supplement miby LaniB - AFIBBERS FORUM
How do you know if you are vagal or not? and if you are vagal, then what's the best treatment? No doctor i've seen has mentioned Vagal VS androgenic. (Must not have had time) In what way can CCB's make afib worse? More often? faster beats? longer lasting? Sorry for all he questions, but i think i might be vagal and doc did RX a CCB (haven't started it yet)by LaniB - AFIBBERS FORUM
That is sobering. what is and OAC? When did you get your first ablation in Bordeaux?by LaniB - AFIBBERS FORUM
I agree with all of the above. I am thin too, and have discovered that low blood sugar triggers my afib, so i try to eat in such a way to keep it level. Fasting is super health promoting, but someone who is thin should never do it unless being guided by a knowledgeable doctor/dietician. My dietician told me to keep my blood sugar level: no refined grains(bread or pasta) limited whole grainby LaniB - AFIBBERS FORUM
In case you didn't see this, Cary sent this to you. It's a link to Dr. Natale's websiteby LaniB - AFIBBERS FORUM

I understand some doctors perform a TEE even when a patient has been continuously on anti coagulant medication, Thoughts? Some doctors allow patients on Amiodarone to stay on it to the day of ablation, and a few months afterward. Thoughts?by LaniB - AFIBBERS FORUM
Does anyone know of any good (preferably Natale trained) E Ps in Salt Lake City or Provo area?by LaniB - AFIBBERS FORUM
Thanks guys! Covid does complicate matters. It's still on the rise in Wake County. If you go on bing.com, in small white print, you can check any county.by LaniB - AFIBBERS FORUM
I wonder if you are sweating out your electrolytes with all of the exercise and while fighting a fire? There is a good amount of potassium in a lot of foods, but especially coconut water and V8. Magnesium is harder to get from foods, so taking Magnesium glycinate, Mg taurate, or the liquid MgCl called Remag may help you. ReMag (Amazon) helped me for quite a while. Has anyone had any experience with Dr. Hranitzky in Raleigh, NC? I need an ablation soon, as I've been paroxysmal for almost 3 years, but progressing very fast now, almost persistent.by LaniB - AFIBBERS FORUM
