I just got a reply from Natale's nurse and she said they were actually PVC's and were not too frequent to worry about. I guess the absence of a P wave and the wide QRS complex were the tell tale signs. This is all new to me.by JohnG - AFIBBERS FORUM
You are a real gem Carey. Much appreciated!by JohnG - AFIBBERS FORUM
Has anyone had odd feeling PVCs come on shortly after starting to feel ill? I got a few body aches, mild fever, foggy headed and some loss of taste (felt like mild Covid), and shortly after I started getting what felt like PVCs that would occur on inhalation and essentially stop my inhalation for a split second. I've had paroxysmal atrial fibrillation since at least 2014 and have had occby JohnG - AFIBBERS FORUM
That's great. Thanks y'all. I can look forward to that in 4 years. Thanks Careyby JohnG - AFIBBERS FORUM
I'll very often get some occult blood in my stool the day after I take and aspirin or an ibuprofen. I have not had the same issue with Eliquis.by JohnG - AFIBBERS FORUM
While on 5mg of Eliquis twice a day, I thought it would be a good idea to take a machete out to my local trail to trim the forsaken mesquite trees and sprouts that annoyingly grew along the trail. I was at it for about 45 minutes when I noticed my new machete was starting to dull a bit...and my grip was beginning to get sweaty. Theobromine is a known stimulant of the sympathetic nervous system and I've noticed chocolate does that for me. And, I suppose, eating a lot of it in one setting might bring insulin surge into play as well. I know when I have insulin surges I get ectopy.by JohnG - AFIBBERS FORUM
I did some pretty extensive Omega 3 testing a few years back to see if it would alleviate my ectopy. It clearly appeared to make it worse, especially if I went beyond 1.5g a day. As I increased my intake up to 7g a day (Dr. Sears crazy recommendation), it progressed proportionally worse along the way. But that's just me. I now just eat fish two or three days a week and have not noticby JohnG - AFIBBERS FORUM
Before having to go on Eliquis after my last ablation which included Natale ablating my Left Atrial Appendage, I was taking Nattokinase supplements for years and didn't seem to notice any difference. I do notice a help with the Magnesium Taurate solutions however.by JohnG - AFIBBERS FORUM
I'm sure Carey's right if you talk to them and pay without insurance. I know my first ablation with Natale 5 months ago amounted to $250,000. With my insurance, I only paid $7,500. I was first alerted to my slow heart rate in the military at the age of 20 where I had a 32 heart rate. While taking about 1/4 of a 5mg Nevivolol as needed, I've seen my heart rate get down to 29 wby JohnG - AFIBBERS FORUM

You bet! I would imagine the light booth was UVB centric similar to the Sperti Vitamin D lamp. I'd be very curious what your curious cardiologist says.by JohnG - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM
Dr. Michael Hollick, I believe, created them and he also created the Dminder phone app to track vitamin D levels. It's fairly accurate, but my D level is often 10-30 points higher when tested than the app. The app has trouble factoring in muscle in the body weight. Here's the Sperti site. You can buy them on Amazon as well. Here's a good video by Michael explaining theby JohnG - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM
Those drug interactions look like Sperti is exercising caution for any drug that can potentially increase photosensitivity. I've taken drugs like that before and did notice worse burning in the sunlight. Maybe a dermatologist could explain the real dangers and whether to reduce exposure time or avoid the lamp altogether. I never get a burn anymore and mostly point them (I have two lamps)by JohnG - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM
I would like to concur with GeorgeN, and thank him for all he does for this blog. I had an ablation three months ago and started going through occasional periods of skipped beats of some kind (My nurse says they are likely PAC's). A woman on this blog, don't remember her name sorry, mentioned she took Cardiovascular Research's Magnesium Taurate. I had bought it before andby JohnG - AFIBBERS FORUM
I had my first ablation with Natale in late September. Mine, like Daisy's was pretty extensive (I had already had two before Natale) and he had to ablate the LAA as well. I'm now awaiting the appointment for my touchup which I expect in February or March. From the time I called them initially to the first ablation with Natale was about three months.by JohnG - AFIBBERS FORUM
My very fit son of 24 got Covid (unvaxed) and got mild pericarditis/myocarditis-like symptoms including ectopic beats occasionally for a few months that have now disappeared. Also on the painful ectopic beats, I have been getting those occasionally (maybe 5 a year???) since my first ablation in 2017 with one of the doctors where Natale practices. I mentioned it to them and they didn't sby JohnG - AFIBBERS FORUM
I have a friend, who's going for a Natale ablation soon and is trained as nurse, who said flatly that he knows he got Afib the week following his mRNA shot. I believe he was 61 or 62 when he contracted Afib.by JohnG - AFIBBERS FORUM
Interesting question. For years I have thought two supplements seem to trigger heart irritation in me. The first, and by far the most conclusive for me, is fish oil. It's dose-dependent too with greater ectopy with higher doses. One time It tried 7g a day and that was a disaster. For me, even 1g a day seems to up the level of heart excitability. So, I eat fish. And I swear thatby JohnG - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM
I have to concur with Daisy's experience. After my Afib episodes stopped, I always felt amazing. After my Atrial Flutter episodes stopped, my heart felt...tired is the best way I can explain it. I have to wonder, though, if in each of those episodes, you may have experienced a virus that attacked your heart tissue for a few days leaving it sore. Perhaps it could have been the cause ofby JohnG - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hello PavanPharter, These two studies show that Nattokinase (in any of the NSK-SD labeled certified formulations) did produce a wide-spectrum blood thinning effect independent of bioavailability. Both studies used a 2,000 Fibrinolytic Unit capsule (100mg) for their treatment group arm.by JohnG - AFIBBERS FORUM
Fascinating GeorgeN! Just so happens I went into Afib upon waking two days ago (rare for me in terms of time of day), which was two days after a four-days straight of feeling sorry for myself resumption of nightly nightcaps. Later that day I took a nap. When I awoke from the nap, somehow instinctively, I rolled to my left side a little (where I was slightly on my back and slightly on mby JohnG - AFIBBERS FORUM
I'm not sure if what Carey said can be echoed enough. The average American's diet is probably 5-10 to 1 salt to potassium these days. And, according to Loren Cordain (whom I've had my disagreements with), hunter gatherer's ratio was essentially reversed. This is one of the issues you'll find with some low-carb diet promoters. They'll say we evolved to eat moreby JohnG - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hello BookNerdCarp, I think some people's Afib affects them more and I'm one of them. I get out of breath easily and generally feel just rotten. I do notice that if my blood pressure is lower and my Afib heart rate is also lower during an Afib episode, I can usually function and work as well without too much difficulty.by JohnG - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hello Bettylou4488, I've messaged you the company. I hadn't heard about the Bradycardia association with Cannaniboids. Thank you for bringing that to my attention. I searched Pubmed and found multiple instances of Bradycardia in animal studies and 3 anecdotal human case studies; one being a man who consumed 350+mg of CBD. The other two were long-standing marijuana users.by JohnG - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hello Jake. I find that it varies on how much of it makes me tired both during the day and at night. When I take 3 or more mg, it tends to make me tired. Generally though, about a ~1-2mg slice does not make me tired and I feel a slight effect on my sympathetic nervous system...at least that's what I think the effect is on as I don't feel like my body is producing as much catecholaminby JohnG - AFIBBERS FORUM
Although I've read from this forum from time to time for over 10 years, this is my first post. I had my first Afib episode in 2014 (I'm 57 now) and my first ablation in 2017. I typically go into Afib for 6-28 hours about 5-10x per year probably...less just after my first Afib. I had a particularly unfun bout of Afib last November where it was a steady 115. If I lay down, it wouldby JohnG - AFIBBERS FORUM
