My EP told me the same things with regard to comparing efficacy. I am having the Watchman procedure on August 30th. He said I need to be n blood thinnrs for four weeks and then baby aspirin.by pamleydon - AFIBBERS FORUM
I apologize if this has been discussed but I tried to search and nothing came up. Have any of you tried Wenxin Keli? I have read some promising studies but would love some anecdotal evidence that this might work to alleviate afib. Thanks,Pamby pamleydon - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hyperthyroidism AND hypothyroidism can cause afib. Your lab result does not indicate hyperthyroidism. Therefore I do not believe your thyroid medication caused the afib. You need more comprehensive testing if you are concerned. Just my opinion. There is a good website for thyroid issues www.stopthethyroidmadness.com Pamby pamleydon - AFIBBERS FORUM
One more thought on what happened to me with the QTc interval. This just occured to me but I was in the ER for around 10 hours. During that time I had a couple of EKGs which as I recall showed hi;gh normal QTc interval, There was absolutely no warning when it jumped above 600. I felt weird so I checked my pulse and I felt it stop before I blacked out. When I was resuscitated, one of the doctorsby pamleydon - AFIBBERS FORUM

The NPS site does not list fluoxetine. or any other SSRIs, for that matter, Are they sold under different names in Australia? I would encourge people NOT to take these lists with a grain of salt.by pamleydon - AFIBBERS FORUM
I have to chime in here - I had a cardiac arrest in October due to high QTc interval, I was lucky to be in the hospital at the time due to severe breathing trouble. My QTc was over 600 and it was the result of taking fluoxetine (Prozac). I was told by my the doctors that they do not get concerned unless it is over 500 but I have read articles that indicate lower numbers than that are dangerous.by pamleydon - AFIBBERS FORUM
Wow - my dog was diagnosed last Friday, Did you base your natto dosing on weight?by pamleydon - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM
Hi I had a deep cleaning yesterday and went into afib a few hours later. The dentist did not use a numbing agent containing epinephrene, Do any of you know wht might have triggered my afib? This is the seocnd time this has happened. Ususally I have no triggers and I have been doing well until I started this dental work. Thanks, Pamby pamleydon - AFIBBERS FORUM
