Just to clarify I’m not stopping D3 supplementation I’m just changing the type I use. Most D3 like the gel capsules people take are produced from the oil contained in sheep wool. This oil is extracted from the wool using a petroleum product called hexane. The sheep wool is literally soak in a vat of hexane to extract the oil from it. The hexane is then boiled off (it is recaptured to be used aby Rob626 - AFIBBERS FORUM
A while back I reported success in eliminating my AFIB episodes here (Update on My Story (All Good)) over a years ago. However, I was still experiencing PAC’s in a bigeminy pattern – mostly at rest. Although these were not causing me any discomfort & my cardiologist was not that concerned I still believed there was something amiss. So having success in eliminating my AFIB through lifestyby Rob626 - AFIBBERS FORUM
QuoteCynthiaJust for reference, how much magnesium are you taking a day? What form? I’m drinking mg bicarbonate. I buy mg hydroxide from Bulk Supplements on Amazon. It’s a powder that I mix with carbonated water to make the mg bicarbonate. I’ve been doing this for several years in 1 liter plastic bottles but just switched over to a Corny Keg & glass swing top bottles – trying to get plastby Rob626 - AFIBBERS FORUM
I take Cod Liver Oil but for other things than Vitamin D. So for the last two tests my level has been at 30 even though I upped my intake to 1000 IU, plus the 400 IU in the Cod Liver Oil. I came across this YouTube (You’re Probably Taking your Vitamin D Wrong, and it Could be Dangerous & Ineffective). So I tripled my magnesium intake & notice a big impact on several conditions I’ve beeby Rob626 - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM
QuoteGeorgeN Hi Rob, when you put the powder in the chilled CO2 water, do you dissolve it in some water first or do you just put the powder directly into the carbonated water? So what is your technique? Yep, that can be a problem. I keep my ready to go water bottles in the refrigerator. When I’m ready to make a batch I place a bottle from the refrigerator into the freezer for about an hour orby Rob626 - AFIBBERS FORUM
I’m a fan of the mg bicarbonate and make it myself. Instead of the milk of magnesia I just buy mg hydroxide from Bulk Supplements on Amazon. Its a cheap, pure, powder form and easier to deal with. Since I already had a CO2 source out in the garage I just had to buy some plumbing to carbonate a 1 liter bottle in which to make it in. Currently I’m switching over to a Stainless Steel jug becauseby Rob626 - AFIBBERS FORUM
First let me just say this is my story and is in no way intended to offer advice. We are all different and how we ended up here varies in many ways. I was a little reluctant to write this but my excitement won out. With that out of the way I’m happy to report that for the last almost 6 moths I’ve been AFIB free and for the last month my PAC’s have been reduced significantly. I bought the 6L and didn't find it useful that purpose. You can switch between single or 6 lead modes. I mostly use mine in single lead mode. On the Kardia there is an enhance setting which applies a filter to the reading. It's used to help reduce noise but may be covering up possible flutter. I guess that's where a 10 or 12 lead come into play and then you're gonna needby Rob626 - AFIBBERS FORUM
Well I got the ball rolling with Dr. Natale. I didn't realize that it would only take one trip so that's not a problem at all. Sounds like the waiting list is out a couple of months but that gives me plenty of time to get some local testing done. I have some friends that live in Austin so I'll be able to shack-up there for the 72 hour period they like you to hang around for. Thby Rob626 - AFIBBERS FORUM
My cardiologist is recommending I see an EP for oblation. Since there are none in my local area they want me to drive 150 miles to the Oklahoma Heart Institute in Tulsa. After reviewing this place I’m wondering if I should go the 581 miles to Austin and see Dr. Natale at the Texas Cardiac Arrhythmia Institute. Has anyone heard of this Oklahoma Heart Institute in Tulsa? Thanksby Rob626 - AFIBBERS FORUM
