After my ablation at Bordeau I was afib free for 13 months. I then quickly went to episodes every few days. I started taking 50 mg flecenaide twice a day and my heart has stayed in rhythm for five years. I suuffer from alergic rhinitis and Quercetin is highly recommended for this but I'm concerned it might affect normal sinus rhythm. Anyone got any information on this?by Sam - AFIBBERS FORUM
I have alergic rhinitis and guercetin has been strongly recommended. Has anyone with Afib tried this?by Sam - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM

My last liquid intake of the day is a cup of tea with my evening meal which I finish at 7 P M. I empty my bladder just before getting into bed about 10.15. I wake up 2 to 2 and a half hours later with a serious need to empty my bladder again. This often happens again about 4.30 AM. I have no sign of retained fluid and I haven't been able to find a solution online. Can anyone heby Sam - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM
I don't use any artificial sweeteners and so would never use aspertame but I find calling something possibly carcinogenic quite annoying. For examply Aloe Vera is also listed as possibly carcinogenic. Really!? Find out if something really is before demonising it. I'll get down of my soapbox now! Thanks for all the replies. I've look into all the suggestions. The combination of high fibre and adding Magnesium Citrate to my Mag Bisglycinate has solved the problem. At this stage just still working on the best amount of Mag Citrate as stools are a bit too soft. Samby Sam - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM
Many thanks for all your answers. I've increased my Magnesium Bisglycinate from 400 mg ( elemental mag) to 600 and ordered mag citrate. The other suggestions I'm still considering. I drink 8 glasses of water a day. I have a complication that I believe is adding to the problem; weak pelvic floor muscles. I'm doing Kegal exercises. However I believe the cause, or part of the caby Sam - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM

I've started to regularly and frequently suffer from constipation. Can anyone offer a solution; perhaps a daily laxitive that doesn't interfere with nutrient absorption or affect flecainide. (or make the problem worse). My diet includes lots of fibre from vegetables, fruit, nuts and seeds., Thanks Samby Sam - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM
It has suddenly become very difficult to get Potassium Gluconate powder in the UK. What other forms would be just as good? Thanks Samby Sam - AFIBBERS FORUM
Thanks for replying, George. I have a home gym with weights and machines which I use five days a week. I have Peripheral Neuropathy - a tingling numbness in the legs and feet - and the power plate is highly recommended for this. I'me very tempted now to give it a try.by Sam - AFIBBERS FORUM
My ablation worked for 13 months and 50 mg Flecainide has kept me in rhythm for over 18 months. Does anyone know if it is safe for me to use a Power Plate?by Sam - AFIBBERS FORUM
If I use this for an infected epidermoid cyst do I take it orally or spray it on the cyst? Thanks Samby Sam - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM
Thanks, Jackie. I used colloidal silver quite a few years ago with no effect. Problem is, I can't remember what I used it for!by Sam - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM
I have an infected epidermoid cyst on my back. Two courses of antibiotics from my Doctor have had no effect (except for giving me diarrhea) Has anyone used a natural antibiotic, such as garlic, that has worked? Thanks Samby Sam - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM
I had my own practice till I retired ten years ago and studied all forms of physical therapy. The best (most successful) therapy is the Maitland Technique. It is also a relatively gentle technique which is important for those of us who are getting on bit! See if you can find a practitioner near you. Samby Sam - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM
George, how much B6 do you recommend? Thanks Samby Sam - AFIBBERS FORUM

Please forgive me for asking a question that I'm sure has been asked before. I've been on flecainide since my afib returned 13 months after my Bordeaux ablation. It hasn't been possible to get back there yet due to the pandemic but Flecainide has done an excellent job of keeping my heart in rhythm. However, I don't feel well on it. Thanks for the replies, folks. It would seem that my post was not clear enough. I have no problems getting to sleep: takes no more than 5 minutes. When I wake up in the night I again go back to sleep very quickly. I don't have apnea. My problem is the amount of REM sleep compared to recuperative sleep. We sleep in cyles throughout the night. Each cycle has 2 basic stages, non REM sleby Sam - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM
Thanks Carey and Shannon for removing the Covid jungle. I have two general health problems which are causing me serious problems but felt before now they would be swallowed up by said jungle. The first is too much REM sleep. Even if I go to sleep and wake up 5 minutes later, as has happened, I'm waking from a vivid dream. Some nights I wake 4/5 times and every time I'm waking from aby Sam - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM
I don't know what type of physical therapy you've but I highly recommend you find a practitioner who uses the Maitland technique. Ask him to show you mobilisation exercises to do every day - knee rocking to chest, standing pelvic rocking and full squat with rounded back. After the ablation my heart was perfect; NSR with hardly a PAC. I let myself become confident when a year passed with no problems but 1 month later I had an episode. 7 months after that a second episode. 6 weeks later a third and 2 weeks later 2 episodes in 3 days. I'm on 50 mg Flec twice a day but I haven't taken the prescribed BB. On Flec my pulse is low 50's in bed; 59 to 60 normal resting. The highest I've ever reached exercising (moderate weights weight training and fast interval walking) is 79. How low would that go with a BB? I've always used a BB when taking higher dose Flec to convert an episode but once collapsed and caby Sam - AFIBBERS FORUM
The most worrying thing about thic one is that it is only 2 weeks after the second. Trying to find a cause I realised the second came soon after starting a very small amount of Glycine which I increased to 1.5 grams yesterday evening at 9.15.pm (For nocturnal polyuria), The episode started at 1.30 am I can’t find such a side effect online. Does anyone know if glycine could be the cause?by Sam - AFIBBERS FORUM
