Four years and almost 3 months ago, I had an ablation performed by Dr Rob Patrawala from Silicon Valley Cardiology. To date, I've been in NSR since then. Fingers crossed! Louiseby Louise Emerson - AFIBBERS FORUM

Hi Murray, I was on Tikosyn for two and a-half years between ablations. Side effects aside (many!), it worked until suddenly it didn't. Just a heads up, the honeymoon doesn't last forever. I then wasted too much time stressing about ablation or not, even went back in the hospital to try to increase the Tikosyn dose, but it was a no-go. I have never experienced an AFIB episode triggering related use of Zithromax, but we are all very individual! Best to you, Louiseby Louise Emerson - AFIBBERS FORUM
