What to believe? In RCTs examining cardiovascular outcomes, marine É·-3 supplementation was associated with an increased risk of AF. The risk appeared to be greater in trials testing >1 g/d. We found a U-shaped association between consumption of marine n-3 PUFA and risk of incident AF, with the lowest risk close to the median intake of total marine n-3 PUFA (0.63 g/day).by PavanPharter - AFIBBERS FORUM

Another on this - Atrial fibrillation disrupts contraction of the atria, leading to stroke and heart failure. We deciphered how immune and stromal cells contribute to atrial fibrillation. Single-cell transcriptomes from human atria documented inflammatory monocyte and SPP1+ macrophage expansion in atrial fibrillation. Susan - I've been keeping a fluid diary for both in and out because I suspect nocturia. So far less than 20% at night. But last night I had a 1000 ml after taking 20mg furosemide, 1 at 3 PM, the other around 5:30. The fountain turned on at 2 AM (1100ML) so if I am going to take Lasix again, I should do it way earlier in the day. The one time I had a ANP BNP it was around 4 litersby PavanPharter - AFIBBERS FORUM

Anyone here ever experience this? I did once as part of an AF episode. It was both scary and enjoyable. The tachycardia-associated polyuria response can occur in 30%-50% of patients with super ventricular tachycardia (SVT), as urine output can increase up to 10 times the normal rate I almost never feel like I've had a good pee.by PavanPharter - AFIBBERS FORUM

IDK CBD but someone somewhere would have to show me the mechanism of how CBD might directly address AFIB. Not seeing any studies out there. And if there were, how would we know it was the CBD or the Cool Ranch Doritos that actually did the job?by PavanPharter - AFIBBERS FORUM
Jackie, Susan, et al - are wicked smart. "Compared to men with AFib and women without the condition, women who had AFib were more likely to have cognitive impairment or dementia. Their condition also appeared to progress more quickly. "by PavanPharter - AFIBBERS FORUM

That is incorrect - D is fat soluble. I personally believe 64ng/ml is a good target but I know of others that go above 100ng/ml The study referenced only went to 48 it's unknowable if more D is beneficial or harmful per the study. I've noticed a trend of posts that are being done by bots here in the forum. Carey has already scrubbed one bots posts and I've noticed two more this AM. Quoteriyaandria Research suggests that fish oil, which is rich in omega-3 fatty acids, may have potential benefits for individuals with atrial fibrillation (Afib). Some studies indicate that omega-3 fatty acids found in fish oil could help reduce the risk of recurrent Afib episodes and potentially improve heart health. However, it is important to consult with a healthcare professional before starby PavanPharter - AFIBBERS FORUM
