Great experience.....similar to many of us here. Congrats! Kenby kls5834 - AFIBBERS FORUM
Great news, John! I'm happy the procedure went so well for you. Kudos to Dr. Natale and Shannon for taking such great care of you! Let me know when you are ready to eat BBQ again and we can meet at our favorite spot. Say hi to Chris for me. Sincerely, Kenby kls5834 - AFIBBERS FORUM
I had my ablation in January 2015. I applied for 250k insurance (10 year term) through Prudential around December of 2015. They had lots of questions about the ablation and heart care. Shirley facilitated a letter from Dr. Natale for me. Policy subsequently issued around February or March of 2016. Other than one year of afib before the ablation, all of my other bodily functions are fine.by kls5834 - AFIBBERS FORUM
Travis, We had our Natale ablations around the same time.....and wow, do I feel what you are saying.....I experienced the same thing in late 2015 and early 2016. I ended up taking my gallbladder out on 12/23/15 as a suspicion of the problem-----I'm not saying yours needs to come out! I experienced the same frustration I hear in your post. While better today, I still get the regular bby kls5834 - AFIBBERS FORUM

Shannon, Good tip on the pinch test.....I certainly wouldn't want to experience that.....but I must admit, I did laugh out loud at your description....LOL....laughing with you, not at you! I was shocked 3 times on one occasion....but was dead asleep. However, I couldn't sleep at all that night from the burning on my chest, no matter how much aloe & lotion I rubbed on it. Travis, Big LOL....I've had the same thought many times since my ablation too.....what happens after Natale retires? Do I need to keep up with his schedule to see how much longer he works? I've resolved it internally much with the same rationale as George & Wolfpack. The good news is that I'm sure he has trained many professionals. Shannon can already name some of his suby kls5834 - AFIBBERS FORUM

Smackman, I just read all of your recent posts/threads regarding your recent troubles. I'm sorry about your troubles---flutter/afib and difficulties with your insurance company for your RX coverage. Thank goodness we all have the good fortune of being able to ask questions here and get great advice from someone who is regularly in direct contact with Dr. Natale......THANKS SHANNON!by kls5834 - AFIBBERS FORUM
Congrats, John! I'm very happy for you! Let's do lunch soon! Kenby kls5834 - AFIBBERS FORUM
McHale-------great story.......so happy it ended with fantastic success. Shannon is awesome, no doubt. We are all lucky to be blessed with his friendship. Many wishes and prayers to you for continued NSR!by kls5834 - AFIBBERS FORUM

Alangford, I'm definitely sorry you are having those nasty PAC's........I can attest that they are troublesome when they last for such a long duration. Again, the potassium/magnesium/taurine combo never worked to relieve any of them for me. So many people here attest that they get relief from it, you might consider it if you haven't already tried. I exercised briefly this mby kls5834 - AFIBBERS FORUM
Shannon, As usual, all of your comments are right on target. Over the last two months, I've chased every rabbit hole possible.....and I'm still chasing them. The disappointment I felt after months of NSR when this irregularity and sustained episodes of PAC's was terrible........I thought I was golden. I've examined my diet, my exercise, my stress levels, and can't finby kls5834 - AFIBBERS FORUM
Jackie, Thanks for your comments and interest. Well, the gallbladder was removed on 12/23, so no healing that baby now! With regard to the bagel, it is always plain.....I never use butter or cream cheese or any other topping. I really don't like butter on anything or other similar toppings. Not really much of a cheese eater either.......so to clarify about the early episodes right afterby kls5834 - AFIBBERS FORUM
Greetings to all friends and fellow Afibbers! I hope all is well with you. I'm posting a chronology to keep everyone updated on my progress.......I know I always enjoy hearing the stories of others......so I'll post mine for your pleasure. I had my Natale ablation in Austin on 1/2715 after having been in afib for the year of 2014, trying different meds that didn't work, incby kls5834 - AFIBBERS FORUM
Dear Friends, There isn't anything I can add than Shannon hasn't already stated about the Afib Symposium in Orlando. I hope you all realize what a wonderful advocate he is for us all. Shannon reached out to both John B and me last week and asked if we would like to attend the conference. Due to schedule, I was only able to attend the last day, Saturday.
