Hi All,

Before I talk about my experience at the CCF(which will be in another post), I would just like to say thank you for your encouraging words.

I met Jackie while I was at the CC. It was so nice of her to come to my hotel room and chat with my wife and I. Thank you Jackie for the visit. It will always be remembered. While I was at the beach, Stan Bergstrom(hope I spelled that right) drove down from Florence, SC to visit for a day. It was so nice finally meeting him after sooo many e-mails. We had a great time together as we both felt we already knew each other fairly well-especially after sharing many personal feelings with one another. What wonderful people both Stan and Jackie are. It was nice to pick up the phone and call Newman after his ablation. I think he was somewhere near Cincinnatti. I am so glad you(Newman) are doing well. This board-over the years-has become somewhat of a community for me-and I would imagine for all of us.

Everyone Be Well-

Jim - thanks so much for your kind comments. It was my privilege and pleasure to meet both you and your wife.

I'm glad you were able to link up with Stan, too. This support group is a life line to many of us and I truly thank you for taking the time to meet with me and to your thoughts and concerns and compare notes.

Perhaps if you and Newman can coordinate your 3-month checkup, the three of us can have a reunion in Cleveland. By then, there may be a few more of us. That's a fun thought.

Keep the faith, Jim, and let us know your progress.

Healthy is wealthy. Jackie

Thanks, Jim, for your kind words. I truly delighted in my day with you at the beach. Because of all our shared experiences via email and phone, I felt a strong bond of friendship even before I arrived. That feeling was cemented when I left. I also enjoyed meeting Diana. She is wonderful.

I hope you are doing better emotionally with the normal post-procedure bumps in the road. Keep the faith, my friend. What you are experiencing is common, and there is an 80% chance you will be cured within three months. Those are good odds. Keep reflecting on this. Your heart was subjected to quite a bit of abuse during the "procedure," so it is just natural there would be some irritation and soreness in the swollen heart, and thus the irregular beats. IT WILL ALL SETTLE DOWN.

Your friend,
Stan
