Stress Test-Any comments?
December 20, 2003 04:58AM
My T-stress test shows 57% ejection rate at rest, 58% at stress. Can someone please comment on these results?

Any ejection fraction of 55%-70% is considered normal-If you were in affib during the test ( were you in affib?) then that will lower your ejection fraction as part of the affib process-

Jerry,
Thanks for your opinion. I don't know if I was in afib or not, but was in the hospital on the holter monitor admitted thru er for afib.

Debbi: You should note that values measured via echocardiography may vary and are guestimated by the tech performing the test, while values measured during cineangiography are much more accurate. Was it you who reported a wide discrepancy between two echos?
