Heart Cath and POTS/IST

This is not necessarily related to Afib, but you are all full of so much information that I hope it is okay to post here. I have a friend that had an MI at age 41 and had to undergo a heart cath with a stent and is now having so e POTS/IST issues. Does anyone have experience with that after ablation or cath? They are very pro natural remedies. Anything to recommend?

Thanks!

Not related to the the MI/stent, but my first wife had a tendency to POTS. I read a paper ~15 years ago that suggested additional hydration plus NaCl. She implemented that suggestion with a material improvement in her POTS. She used unrefined sea salt for the NaCl.

I know a lot about POTS and other forms of orthostatic intolerance, as I have neurally mediated hypotension which is related. Ablations often impact the autonomic ganglia in the heart, and potentially can affect the autonomic nervous system. Generally, in my understanding, it will “boost“ the sympathetic system which is related to POTS.
