There is strong enough interest in treating arrhythmias, and there must be a healthy market for new/patentable drugs apart from academic curiosity or the need to fulfill degree requirements. This is good. I figure there must be over 300M AF sufferers across the continents who would comprise the market for new and effective methods and chemicals.
