I regret not getting iron IVs earlier. Perhaps being so anemic, getting Afib episodes were triggers. If you are anemic get a ferritin test and act on it.
I had my second iron infusion today. My AV ablation was 12-1-22 and I don’t have as many episodes as before. My 1-15-23 pacemaker interrogation caught 50 afib/tachycardia episodes. Today I saw my local EP who manages my PM. I’m curious on getting today’s results of the last two weeks, which range from my first infusion to today. I want to see if my episodes were less because I’m getting iron infusions. Of course I’m in my blanking period which may had contributde to less episodes recorded. My 1-15-23 interrogation showed my atria beating erratic as high as 265 while my ventricular pacing was a steady 80. I felt each Af episode (quivering tachy hr typical with Af) just like you folks who had a successful monkey cage of scar tissue after an ablation and your monkey in your cage is on crack. Your caged area maybe beating crazy but your hr stays in a non tachy nsr.
I hope you get your ferritin checked.
