I have paroxysmal afib coming on in between 2 an10 days intervals. HR usually below 90. Am on beta blocker. Take 100mg flecainide and it goes to NSR in less that 4 hours. Should I continue normal activities while in afib. Right now I usually rest. I am a 93yr male

It doesn't hurt to test. This does two things: if reveals your limitations and it answers your questions/allays your fears. So, think about how to do this methodically, keep reasonable notes, and commence some modest activity to see how you bear up. You may surprise yourself. I have just been accepted formally as an ablation failure, and I have a lot of ectopic activity going on in the past four weeks. Still, I got up today and used a five-gallon bucket to hurry the evacuation of our 100-gallon spa. I think I carried out maybe 40 gallons of it inside of three minutes. My heart didn't skip a beat.

Exercise during afib is perfectly fine. Just limit to what you feel up to.
