Has anyone experience using PEMFS to treat atrial fibrillation?

Do you have a link to PEMFS ? The top hit on the search engine started (dubiously imo) with "PEMF is cellular exercise based on the principles of pulsed electromagnetic field therapy."

I personally do not have any experience with PEMFS.
It looks like the FDA approved PEMFS to treat nonunion fractures 40 years ago , but I have not found any papers in the scientific literature that use both terms, PEMFS and Atrial.

Nor does the pdf of PEMFS+AF references provided by Dr Pawluk does not reference any papers with 'pulsed' or 'PEMFS' in the titles.

His bio bio About Dr Pawluk doesn't mention atrial fibrillation.

Given that, his various statements such as
  • "One key role of PEMFs in AF is preventative and useful in the earlier stages of AF" a
  • "PEMFs <snip> appear to be able to reduce <snip> AF firing <snip>"
  • "In conclusion <snip> PEMF stimulation <snip> may <snip> prevent atrial fibrillation."

beg the question, at least in mind, how does he know those things?

If you go to his web site, he has a blog on AFIB and use of PEMF. Not advisable if you have an implant like pace maker, etc. If you call his office his staff will talk with you about this. You can also get a free consult with Dr. Pawluk.
