PACs or PVCs ?

PACs or PVCs ?
November 13, 2021 05:52AM
Hi,
Here's a tracing. It's ectopics, mostly bigeminal pattern. They may last for hours (3 hrs yesterday in the evening), mostly at rest.
Tracing is D2. Strangely, some ectopics have reversed polarity (like PVCs), but are about as thin as PACs.
Do you see them as multifocal PACs? A couple PVCs in the bunch?

Thanks for your help.

I see all PACs except two PVCs mixed in.

There are 4 "negative" ectopics. What's the difference between them explaining two are PVCs and two are still PACs?
It's just a single lead recording, so I guess it might not be easy...

It's debatable and there might be 4 PVCs there, but I didn't think two of them were wide enough to be PVCs. Like you said, single lead.

I got the same (awful) sensations tonight. I used some patch electrodes and the wires.
Most are PVCs. It looks like they're "traveling" up and down the ventricles, the "upper" ones looking like PACs...

Likely harmless, but utterly discomfortable.

Yeah, that had to be uncomfortable. I don't think I've ever seen PVCs in a sustained bigeminal pattern like that.
