My loved one has had h Pylori running along beside his bouts of Afib anyone else see that ?

IF not h pylori, other Gut bugs or Parasites

Another problem that can lead to atrial fibrillation is a bacterial stomach infection known as the H pylori Bacteria. While it sounds crazy that an infection might cause a heart problem, not only is H pylori hypothesized to contribute to Atrial fibrillation, but also to the regular type of heart disease that causes heart attacks.

It has been discussed for a long time. My initial afib episode was in 2004 and getting tested was one of the avenues I went down (I tested negative) Here is a search on pylori. Here is a thread on the topic. A post by JohnnyS on the topic.

Percyfaith - be sure to read the 'testimonial' by Sharon Glass at the link GeorgeN provided. She remained afib free for many years once the H.pylori was managed. We corresponded for a long time but I haven't heard from her in a long while.
