Heart rate continues to be higher then before ablation 10+ beats. In the evenings high 80s to 90s. Few times I can reach low 100s can reduce it down by laying down in bed usually.

7 months post ablation any causes for concerns? Sent EKG with 101 heart rate to EP just in case.

Might have to do with digestion after dinner and hot showers in evenings that pushes rate 6-8 beats higher??

Wonder if Ill ever stop obsessing over every beatsmiling smiley

Nope! smiling smiley

An increased resting heart rate after an ablation is extremely common and everything you've described fits it. It can last a surprisingly long time, upwards of a year, but in the end it goes away (slowly) and it's never something to be concerned about. Perfectly normal and expected as long as it doesn't go over 100 for prolonged periods of time.

As Carey noted Kevin above ... there is zero worries about what is post ablation transient elevated HR ... even if it goes on for a year or even two, it's still benign and typically will settle back down eventually to roughly your prior normal sinus rate as your pacing cells they got a bit zapped during the ablation grow fresh cells extending out over roughly two .
to 2.5 years at the very longest.

Happy New Year!
