I have never even been offered amiodarone, much less taken any of it, but there has been so much discussion of it that i thought more information might help.

From the full paper <[onlinelibrary.wiley.com] "Rate‐lowering drugs (RLDs) and anti‐arrhythmic drugs (AADs) are known to be pro‐arrhythmic that can lead to bradycardia, potentially aggravating the risk of falls and syncope. However, whether RLD and AAD use in patients with AF are associated with a higher risk of fall‐related injuries and syncope is unknown. The aim of this study was to identify the risk of syncope and fall‐related injuries associated with the use of AAD and RLD in older patients with AF."
