Hi Todd - Thanks for posting this.
Long ago, there were posts about the effectiveness of pycnogenol in preventing deep vein thrombosis during long flights. There was a study using Long Haul Flite Tabs which contained pycnogenol aka maritime pine bark and then, a newer version that also contained nattokinase called Pinokinase. I used pycnogenol for its antioxidant properties even before I became an afibber (in '95) since one of my patients was enthusiastically using it as a new 'preventive' measure to ensure good health and so, shared it's benefits to our dental practice.

And if you just Google Flite Tabs, there's more detailed info.
Plus, there is the book by our founder, Hans R. Larsen, MSc ChE ...
Thrombosis and Stroke Prevention - The Afibber's Guide to Stroke Prevention .... which was updated in April 2018 to the 3rd Edition

There's info in this book on Pinokinase and the updates include the NOACs
