So spent the week in the hospital and am so tired and out of it (those every 2 hour wake ups for bp or ekg or blood pulls are so much fun).
But the Sotalol kicked me back into NSR Tuesday after 2 doses. Thanks goodness for so many reasons (not the least of which was the planned cardioversion if it didn't work).
The docs say my EKGs don't read well re: the QT interval prolongation, it thinks there is one there. My docs (I had 3 working in this including my EP) say that my bump on the EKG is so low that the machine reads it as not there. They insist that it is there, so aren't concerned.
I'm going to ask my EP (who wasn't there, just consulted by phone), to do another comparison of the post and pre Sotalol EKGs to make sure.
Not that I'm concerned or anything.
So far no dizziness, but am seriously groggy - can't tell if it's med or getting no sleep for 4 nights.
