Instant actions with suspected stroke or heart attack

I know someone to call emergency but what about know best close hospital nearby if a non panicky driver instantly available ?

Should the person take an aspirin ?

Any thing else ?

I think that would in-part depend upon your own particular situation. What is the average response time from the local Ambulance service? How far is it to the nearest Hospital? I personally would rather have someone drive me to a Hospital if it were close, rather than wondering when the EMT's are going to show up. As for the Aspirin question, you could ask that to your own Cardio Dr., since he/she would have all of the details of your particular case.
