Beconase

Or more specifically beclometasone diproprionate - a steroid inhaler for my blocked sinuses.

Do have any folks here have any views as to whether or not using this spray puts me at a significantly increased risk of PAF episodes?

Doesn't seem to be much on line to that effect other than the usual ephemeral/vague minutiae.

Thanks in advance,

Mike F.

Mike

Before my ablation, when my AF was still paroxysmal, Beconase was prescribed for me by my GP in Australia because I sometimes had blocked sinuses when I was scuba diving.

He knew that I had AF and he was also a qualified Hyperbaric Medicine specialist. I am sure he wouldn't have prescribed it if there was any danger of it causing AF.
