Question re making Waller Water

When I am travelling it is sometimes difficult to find club soda but ordinary sparkling water, or carbonated water, is always available. Could I use sparkling water to make Waller Water?

Gill,

I would think so. Here is an explanation of the differences (or lack thereof)...

Thanks for that George.

Which would you use to make magnesium water? The seltzer?

I'm struggling to make mag water at the moment with mag hydroxide powder - even if I pour a 1/4 bottle of the soda water or whatever off, add the powder slowly to it, and then remix (slowly) the 1/4 mag water back with the other 3/4 bottle, it still foams over quite a bit unless one goes real slow pouring in which case the CO2 gets lost resulting in a lot of mag hydroxide powder not being 'assimilated' and as such left lying in the bottle undissolved.

Was a lot easier with MoM but I don't like the flavours added to it as I can only get it here in the UK.

Hope you're running/ticking over well George!
