Hi Friends. Hope this finds you in NSR
I've not had a-fib since I flatlined in August and I am still in NSR thankfully.
I've been on Amiodarone [not the greatest fun] and I started to get this pesky Ventricular Fibrillation starting in November.
I've had HR's over 300 and so my ICD [defibrillator] Shocks me .... and I'm fine and they happen when I'm asleep or napping and there's nothing to do until I send a transmittal to Cardiologist. Almost got to see them yesterday about this but snow prevented it.
My question is - if you know that your HR is 300 [I'm getting a heart rate monitor] can they do anything at the ER ....In your experience?
Merry Christmas
Neil
