Latest and Best Portable ECG?

Latest and Best Portable ECG?

I desire to purchase a portable ECG (3 lead) that will record to SD RAMcards. And suggestions as to what is the latest and best available at a reasonable price? I am going to need a box of electrodes as well and the ECG should come with software for analyzing the lengthy strip.

At issue is that presently an ECG shows a snapshot in time of perhaps a minute or with a Holter monitor perhaps one day at a time.

I'd like to have a portable ECG of my own that I can wear and analyze more regularly without the hassles. The latest software, as I understand it, will examine the strip from end to end and highlight the 'events' worth investigating.

I cannot recall where I purchased my latest investments in medical technology so any suggestions in that regard would be appreciated as well. I'm still looking for where I got my last gear from. They were excellent.

Here is the unit I use:
http://www.centaurusmedical.com/portable-handheld-ecg-ekg-heart-monitor-md1100.html

I bought it from this company and got it the next day...good service.

It has a three lead plug in, but I find for my use hand held works just fine!!

I looked at a lot of them and this one seemed good and cost effective.
I've had it about a year and no complaints........

I would like to buy a portable ECG too, but I would prefer something that will record continously for several hours so I can get a recording during different types of activity (run, bike, eat, rest, sleep etc.). I sometimes get "funny feelings" (not skipped beats: I know what they feel like) in my chest, which may or may not be cardiac related - it would be nice to see if they really are or whether I am just a little paranoid! smileys with beer

This is the same unit that I have been using. A little tricky transferring data but works well once you get used to it.
