Australian version of K+ points

Christy sent me another list of K+ containing foods with the amount of K+ listed in points.

One point is equal to one meq, or 39mg of K+. Thanks to GeorgeN for his calculations of that ratio.

Please note that this list does mean that all of these foods are good for afibbers. Some of them I didn't even recognize, being an American. For example, I had to look up vegemite and found out that it is a very salty food. Maybe some of our Australian posters can tell us more about this.

But this is more complete than the previous list that we posted, and each category is presented in decreasing amounts of K+.

Vegemite is the same stuff as Marmite here in the UK, it's a yeast extract and is/was a by-product of the brewing industry. It is a real Baddy for Fibbers as it's full of MSG type stuff and is sadly missed by me.
